"The hotel looks like a tiny hamlet of old farm buildings which have recently been renovated. A definite rustic feel to it. Parking is 100 m in front of the hamlet. Hotels.com failed to list this hotel as having a restaurant. As such I ate junk food on the way to the hotel, only to find the perfect restaurant for me. I made space for a delicious salmon salad and wonderful glass of Riesling! The room was good and I slept very well. The only missing utility which I always need as a business traveller, was a desk. I suspect, this would also effect females needing a dressing table. I was shown an alternative room with a tiny glass table. Anyway, it didn't spoil my stay. Wonderful staff. Not too expensive. Great hotel and I would definitely stay again."

"We were pleased with our stay at the Welcome Hotel. Parking is around the back of the building and underground. It was very convenient to go to the old city by walking across the street and taking the elevator up to the historic area where there were many shops and outdoor cafes. Breakfast was excellent, but after 9 days it became repetitive. We would stay here again!"

"As a fan of Leica cameras, a trip to Wetzlar to see the Leica museum was a bucket list item of mine. Staying in the Ernst Leitz hotel, was amazing! It was very clean with a lot of character. The room itself was very spacious and the staff was very accommodating. In my opinion, photographers MUST visit the museum, and stay at this hotel."
