"It was a great place for a family vacation. The place was very comfortable for everyone. We had breakfast in the hotel next door and there was a grocery store close by. It was an excellent choice for 7 of us. "

"We had the room on the top (5th floor). It had a huge bathroom with a great deep tub (plus a big shower). The room, which was a very spacious, had beautiful exposed beams. It was charming (more so than the other units of the property, which were also nice, just not as charming) and really nicely situated in Heidelberg, two blocks or so from the castle and Christmas markets. If I am ever in Heidelberg again I would certainly stay there! The only downside is there is no elevator and the steps up...

"Hosts friendly and helpful. Extra effort with the 2 teenage boys. Rooms spacious and and clean. Well equipped kitchen. Convenient parking. View of Neckar from deck was post card quality. Definitely "top shelf"."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this VRBO property and Oberderdingen. It was located in a beautiful and relaxing town, but close to all areas to visit. We had friends nearby, cities to visit, historical sites to see and amazing meals every day. It was nice to come back to this relaxing home at the end of each day. "Perfect little gem just off the Marktplatz in Heidelberg’s beautiful Altstadt. No frills, but clean and comfortable. You cannot beat this location. Easy walk in and walk out. Easy access to public transportation. Spend your time walking the pedestrian areas and enjoying restaurant and bar outdoor seating! Highly recommend!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here, it was beautiful, homey, and spacious. We utilized the kitchen, which while small, had all the amenties. The balconies were great, especially the one in the back. The living room and bedrooms had lots of space and storage. The host was super responsive, and very helpful and knowledgeable, and dealt with my terrible german very well. The one note I'd make (and may have missed when reading the description) is how many stairs are involved. It was not an issue for...

"Die Gastgeber waren wirklich sehr freundlich, hilfsbreit, und unkompliziert. Die Gegend liegt idyllisch und ruhig, perfekt zum Entspannen nach einem langen Tag in Heidelberg :) Die Anbindung an die Stadt war gut - Wir würden auf jedenfall wiederkommen! "
