House with character: fenced garden, ideal for familly

La Cerisaie is a large, cheerful and warm village house built in 1620 and fully renovated by an architect in 2012. In a quiet garden fenced with walls and perfectly secured for children with fruit trees and large hundred-year-old boxwood under which it is pleasant to take your meals or nap. The house with very thick walls stays cool when it is very hot outside. It is an ideal place for young children (games and inflatable pool) as well as for teenagers (table tennis, 5 bikes at your disposal and free tennis courts 200 m). The decoration is refined. It has a lot of charm. This property is composed of a main house with 4 bedrooms, bathroom and shower room and a guesthouse in the outbuildings (20 m from the main house). 2 very nice cats used to children live in the workshops and the garden. You do not have to worry about them. Linen for bed , towels for bathroom and tableclothes are included, aw well wood for the fireplace.

Séjour entre amis bien apprécié
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à la cerisaie. Le grand jardin clos a ravi les enfants et nous y avons pris d'agréables repas. Nous étions 12 et avions tout l'espace nécessaire pour y être a l'aise sans jamais l'impression d'être serré. Quel plaisir d'aller chercher le pain à vélo! Situation appréciable au calme, à seulement 20min d'Auxerre.

Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful time with our kids. The house is truly charming and well equipped. It had everything you need for a perfect holiday. The garden is really big and child friendly. The cat Patou is the sweetest ever. I would highly recommend it!

Week in Epineau-les-Voves
We had a very nice family get together in this spacious and beautiful house and garden. The house had a lived in feel and was generously provided which meant we had everything that we needed to enjoy our time together and the small children especially loved the enclosed garden with swings, a Wendy house and children’s toys and seats The proprietor very kindly picked us up from the station and gave us a warm welcome. We would certainly recommend it to other families.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette magnifique maison, alliant charme et confort. Les enfants etaient ravis, les cuisiniers aussi, le cycliste tout autant ! La maison est très agréable même quand il pleut et le jardin est idéal avec des enfants petits. Les proprietaires sont extrêmement prévenants. Une maison dont nous recommandans très chaudement la location !

Wonderful Place
La Cerisaie is just a wonderfully restored 17th century home that has those French touch from Virginie and Hugues that a plebeian like me can actually appreciate, but it has all those modern conveniences that spoiled Americans can appreciate. It is a marvelous home in a marvelous area of Bourgogne. A wonderful restaurant as well as a patisserie / boulangerie is within walking distance and the neighboring towns of Joigny, Migennes and Auxerre are wonderful to explore and have all possible services and excellent restaurants. The Saturday's farmers market in Joigny is not to be missed. You will have a wonderful time. Simply, our stay was 4 star thanks to Virginie and Hugues......as well as Patou - the wonderful chat.

Charme et confort dans une belle vielle maison
Nous n'avons eu que des bonnes surprises dans cette jolie maison. Son charme est comme sur les photos, la cuisine super équipée pour ceux d'entre nous qui aiment cuisiner, nous avons aimé la joli vaisselle et les couverts en argenterie, le vélo pour aller chercher le pain le matin, les grandes chambres confortables et le jardin clos 'comme un petit château fort'. Il y plein d'activités que Virginie nous indique dans un guide de la maison très bien fait, les jeux de société et le ping-pong nous ont fait nous sentir comme chez nous. Merci !
