"The staff is very friendly and made it enjoyable to stay. We walked to the restaurants and shops. Even tho a lot of shops and restaurants were closed during our stay in January it was still very enjoyable. It was peaceful and quiet with very few people around. Definitely a great getaway from all of the chaos of everyday life. "

"We came up here to get away from the city for a few days. The Newport was just what we were looking for! It was as clean as could be. Everybody at the front desk was so nice and helpful. It had a pool and hot tub that were very busy. I would definitely recommend staying here."

We also enjoyed their local offerings and support with local food and drink items. Owners/staff very pleasant as well. Will definite stay again!"

"Nice convenient location. Overall the place was nice, but very dated decor overall and in our room. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable to sleep on and the pillows were just as hard. It was very quiet, however our stay was a few days before Christmas, so I’m sure there weren’t many travelers. Would love to go back and stay there, as it was located central to shopping and dining, but because the bed was so horrible to sleep on, we will look elsewhere next time."
