"Our group of three adults spent five days at the chalet. Aside from the chalet itself the fantastic host should be acknowledged, both from a communications perspective and also for equipping the chalet so well (with all the little things that most lack e.g tea, coffee, salt , pepper , bin bags etc). The chalet was spotless , warm and beds/linen were excellent. The closest (mini) supermarket is around a ten minute walk, as is the rest of the town. "Le chalet est : . vétuste (salle de bain avec les joints jaunis, table de nuit cassée, vieux meubles, équipement ménagé ancien ,etc.. ) . aucune chaise longue pour la terrasse . les abords n'étaient pas dégagés (une entreprise à dû venir pour faire l'entretien) . la literie est de mauvaise qualité . une nouvelle résidence a été construite juste derrière le chalet, ce qui lui fait perdre l'intérêt de sa situation. En résumé, je ne conseille pas cette location/"

"We have just returned from Les Contamines. There were 2 families (4 adults and 4 children) and the space was excellent. The children particularly enjoyed the table football and table tennis. The communal space in the kitchen, lounge and dining area was large enough to cater for all of us . The beds were comfortable and clean and the bathrooms were immaculate with the added bonus of a bath, which the children enjoyed on their return from skiing. "The chalet was perfect for 4 or 5 adults. The third double bedroom was a little too small and cosy for two adults sharing. Charming rustic decor and ambience, with lovely touches like unusual candles; kitchen beautifully equipped - even a salad spinner - all appliances were top quality. Integral garage with automatic door was a boon. Loved the location, close to the village, but be aware the pretty garden is not enclosed and near the road.
