"This was an amazing cabin, between the weather and close proximity to the river, this cabin is a great way to enjoy nature. This cabin is clean and is as advertised. Kitchen has everything you need to make a great meals and the table is great for games or puzzles. This place is high on my list of places we'll visit again."

"We tried to book this place years ago, but a family had it rented for several consecutive years. We have stayed in at least 5 other large rentals in Leavenworth, and this is by far the favorite! There was so much to keep the kids busy and they could spread out with all the space. It was a definite 10 out of 10!"

We walked to 97 rock which was less than a mile away, and was a cute little coffee shop. We spent a day in Leavenworth which was only about 20ish minutes away. The cabin was a perfect location! "We love staying at this house. We stayed 2 years ago and were so excited it was open again this year. As with any rental, there are always little things that could be newer or cleaner, but nothing that takes away from the enjoyment of the weekend. The kids love sledding down the big hill on the property, it's nice you don't have to drive somewhere to have fun if you don't want to. Lots of stairs to get to bedrooms and bathrooms. Lots of quirky little rooms the kids love picking different rooms...

"Such a beautiful location. it feels like being remote and yet it is so quick to get to town. The hill is steep to get in and gave us a bit of trouble. We had one person park below and shuttled their things up. There was plenty of space for a large group. The kitchen is well equiped. It jas it all! totally recommended place to stay!"

"We absolutely love staying at Haus am Fluss and thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The cabin is in a beautiful wooded area near the river, close to town but far enough away to feel secluded and peaceful. One of my favorite things to do is watch the sunrise over the other side of the river out the huge, gorgeous windows of the cabin. Incredibly stunning! The hosts are so kind and responsive. There was a bit of communication confusion between booking with VRBO and the property management that needs to be ironed out, but that is such a small thing in an otherwise perfect weekend. "We stayed with a group of 7 including 2 kids. House had more than enough space and tons of sleeping options. Kids loved the bunk bed room with climbing wall. Upstairs had lots of sitting space and spacious open kitchen with everything you need for cooking meals in. It snowed during our stay and we had fun in the snow outside and in the hot tub. Best part was definitely the unbelievable lake view. So gorgeous!"

"A gem of a place to stay in Leavenworth. Fantastic mountain views from the living room. Great location next to the river with easy access to walk and play by the river. Also right near all the downtown shops on a quiet street, and easy drive to nearby xc skiing. Clean, spacious, comfortable, tastefully decorated, well-equipped, indoor parking, heated stairwells.
