The place needs some TLC, it is well located. Not in tourist area, but close to the entrance. Several food options close by. Parking was convenient in front of the room. Read the reviews and my expectations were not high, but just needed a room for the night. Water does smell bad, but they do provide water for brushing teeth. Old building with very thin windows allows a lot of noise in from the highway. The beds are "sleepable", but you can start to feel the springs. My issue was with the service, interacted with night person and morning person. I reserved for 3 people, my Wife, my Son and me. After arrival, I asked for an additional towel for morning shower. Was asked if I had reserved for 3, which I had. It was a young kid, he said he didn't have access to towels and that the housekeeping staff did not arrive until 830am. Told him I needed to leave by 8am and needed an additional towel. Said he would try, never happened. The next morning at 730am I went to reception and there was a new clerk, older gentleman. Same thing, he asked if I paid for an extra person, and I told him I reserved for 3 PAX, so I was expecting 3 towels. He grudgingly went to an adjacent room and gave me an extra towel. Based on how stingy they are with towels, that is probably reason why they don't invest in updating and maintaining the place. Has a lot of potential, but they need to invest in their property and in towels. Will probably not stay here again.
