Very nice place to stay, centrally located from many places to visit and sight see. There were a few housekeeping issues but would recommend, especially for a big family or group.
had a great time, house was clean, everything worked, plenty of room to hang out, though we were so busy at the snowmobile museum we didn't spend a lot of time at the house.

Worked for us
Plenty of room and 3 bathrooms for our group of 8. Nothing fancy but that was fine with us , you can’t beat the price. Central location,
Our family met up with another family, it was a halfway point for us. The house was very spacious especially for our group of 8. The house was a little dusty, some stains on the sheets as well. Overall it suited our needs.
What a wonderful property! We stayed at Dave’s property for our annual Cousin’s weekend and we were all thrilled with our accommodations. The place was super clean and so comfortable. Lots of room to spread out or to gather together. Very convenient to the Falls, Garlynn Zoom, and St. Ignace. Also had great pizza from D&D. We would definitely rent this property again. A huge thanks to Dave on the property, communication, etc. He was a wonderful host.
We had a wonderful experience at Dave’s property. There was plenty of room for our family of 7. The beds were comfy. Dave went above and beyond getting fans for the bedrooms after we had a warm first night. Great location close to a lot of fun family things to do. Definitely check out MI dogs while you’re in the area!
House was perfect and very clean. The property owner was very good at communicating with us. I would recommend this house for anybody who enjoys snowmobiling with the trail across the street. Or if you enjoy trail riding. We will be back!
We really enjoyed the house. It was a great size for our family to spread out and enjoy. We loved the 2 living rooms and the kitchen was a great size! The firepit in the backyard and the 3 bathrooms were wonderful to have! The only downsides were the kitchen needs a couple more pots and pans, and some of the furniture is not kid friendly (glass-top coffee tables). We moved the sofa table to a back room while we were there so we didn't have to worry about the kids breaking it. Overall, we really liked the house.
Location was great and house was nice, didn't end up staying due to snow report being inaccurate and not being able to ride from house. "Roads were bare" I had multiple veterans with me for the vet ride in seeney who were not able to load up trailers 3 days in a row.
This house had everything we needed for our ORV trip with plenty parking for our three trucks with a trailer each and UTVs.
The only downside is it is on the main road that runs through Engadine so we had to ride a few mile to the ORV routs. But it wasn’t a show stopper.
We had a very good vacation while staying here. It was nice to go see things and come back to cook a meal. Lots of room in the house and very relaxing.
My only complaints were grass not cut, BBQ grill not cleaned, Firepit not cleaned out. No handrail going down steps to firepit. Spongy floor in Bathroom upstairs, need more kitchen utensils and more Toilet Paper and paper towels. Could use some ceiling fans throughout the house. I would recommend to others if suggestions were to be completed and upgraded.
We had two families of four with teenagers. The house is large and had plenty of seating and space for our group. We appreciated that the host provided paper towel, dishwasher tabs, dish soap, and toilet paper. The location puts you about an hour or less from most of the Eastern UP sites. We visited Pictured Rocks (from Munising to Grand Marais), Tahquamenon Falls, and did a rain day in Manistique at the Flatiron Brewery. The market (walking distance) in town is well stocked with most items you need. The house has three bedrooms upstairs with a bathroom and then one bedroom on the main level. Having laundry was a huge bonus. We used the fire pit in the backyard several nights. Thanks for the great stay!
We loved the amount of space in this home. We stayed there to explore the eastern part of the UP. Beaches on Lake Mighigan, Tahquamenon Falls, Fayette Historical Park, Mackinack Island, Kitch-iti-kipi springs.
We also enjoyed the fire pit in the back yard.
New bath towels at the house would be an appropriate improvement. The ones that were there were pretty thin.
