"It’s a hostel, so things are not as luxurious as at a regular hotel. Indeed, I never saw any of the hostel staff. And we had a lot of confusion regarding check-in. However, once we checked in, the room was just fine for the price, and the location was convenient to shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing. Note: there is NO parking anywhere nearby. Even driving to the hostel to drop off bags is difficult, since the streets are mostly 2-2.5m wide, and twisty. But if you arrive by mass...

"I was upgraded to a suite, which was very nice. The only issue was the heating system was not powerful enough to heat the large room. Even on the maximum setting it took almost 2 hours to warm up a bit, and I doubt the room heated to 20 or 21C. Internet was very weak and sometimes non-existent in my room. The in room phone did not work, so every time I had an issue, I had to go down to the front desk."

"This is a lovely hotel with beautiful rooms and a great breakfast. We had a view of the cathedral bell tower and were right next to the mosque/cathedral. It was a little hard to find but there is parking available underneath. A very comfortable stay. We had an exceptionally large room, no. 206."

"Beautiful building, gardens, water fountains. Great decor all throughout. The room was on the small size. Nice bathroom. However the room had no outside window which detracted from it’s appeal."

My room itself was much bigger than I expected with a huge bathroom and a porch way which contained the wardrobe.
