"Arrived late but still got to use the pool, which was cold, steam room good sauna not much heat. Room nice, great big bed, nice layout, like having a shower and bath available. No milk on tray also only one English Breakfast t-bag. The parking price is too high (£20) and should be shown prior to booking, I couldn't afford this and had to make other arrangements.Central located, near the station. Overall will deffo stay their again and this time we need 2 welcome drinks as we didn't get them this time. "

"We enjoyed our stay at the Basingstoke Country Hotel. Accommodation very spacious and lovely and warm. Staff extremely welcoming and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"Our room in the square block (we’d seen the unnecessary negative reviews before we’d arrived) behind the pretty white main house, came as a very pleasant surprise. The room was newly furnished, to a high standard and spotlessly clean. Positive feedback….great for one night, but a little more storage or even a couple more wall hooks to pop coats and hang towels etc are needed. The real added bonus was the lovely warm pool, hot, hot-tub and steam & sauna rooms, just perfect, when you’ve been outdoors all day! Breakfast was good quality and plentiful. Sausage & bacon could’ve been cooked a little longer for me to be honest and the hot plate needed turning up to keep the buffet food hot. The toaster made nice warm bread (these are again meant as positive criticisms) The pastries were really good and a nice selection of fruit. All the staff were extremely friendly and the whole place had a very welcoming feel. For the price we paid it really was great value and I would have no hesitation in recommending or re-booking this hotel when we are next in the area. Many thanks! "
