"One thing - if you use Google maps it will take you up a tiny street you cannot turn around in. I dropped off my partner and then was committed to a very slow 20 minute drive through small alleyways with pedestrians to find the way out and parking. It was just a 6-minute walk downhill back to the hotel but still kind of a stressful experience. Not the hotel's fault... Hotel and rooms are awesome. Just don't drive to the front door."

"Nice place to stay, location was amazing. This is a bit inconvenient if you are traveling for a shorter stay, because you have to check in about a 5-10 minute walk from the apartment. The only issue we had was the couch had dog hair on it and it transferred to dark clothing. This was the only thing that wasn’t ideal. "

"We had a lovely time. The apartments are in an excellent location with easy access to a store and a few restaurants. The shared garden is awesome for kids and with a 15 minute walk you can get to the beach. The staff was super nice. The beds were "on the harder side". We spend around 8 days there. During the week, it was calm and peaceful. In the weekend there was some partying and noise."

" Excellent hotel (English spoken). We opted for a deluxe double room with lake and golf course view. It had a lovely sunny balcony with chairs and table. The room itself was large and airy with desk, chairs, large settee and tea and coffee making facilities, large spacious bathroom with bath robes and shoes. "The rooms are really nice with a large bed, comfy linens, a big tv which you can sign in to Netflix through, and nice amenities. Downside was that I booked this hotel due to the advertised hot tub. No where on the property details did it list the fact the hot tub was a surcharge, there were no signs in the hotel and I was not told at checkin. "The hotel is comfortable, quiet, and very clean. It is a 10 minute walk to the old town and a 5 minute walk to the train station. The neighborhood has cafes and stores, including a supermarket a few paces from the front door. Clean towels every three days, no coffee/kettle in the room, but otherwise perfectly acceptable."

We got a little lost in the hills above the entrance to the hotel, which made it an even better adventure when we found it and discovered the uniqueness, beauty and magic of Finca Bell-LLoc. "Wonderful property that's close to old town site seeing but not loud that can happen if you're in the middle of everything. Being on top of the hill has the advantage of best place to see the city below and sunset from the beautiful roof top terrace over the mountains on the other side of the city. The location also can make it a bit difficult to walk bach to hotel as other reviews have noted. It's not that bad and if needed you can stop to catch your breath on one of the walls. It is a very short walk to the shops and restaurants down in the old town area. Everything was well cared for and clean. They have an online restaurant and bar so you don't need to head down again if you want to stay there in the evening. Area seems safe and is residential so no need to worry about being out late at night. Highly recommend this modern friendly hotel!"

"Beautiful place to stay, we felt very lucky to have the opportunity. Pool area is great and so much inside the castle we didn’t get a chance to use all the rooms! Great view from the roof. Really helpful owner and the concierge Roser was brilliant "

Lovely relaxing stay in gorgeous village house

"Our group of two families aged from 20 to 60 years had a lovely time in this beautiful home in the heart of characterful Peratallada. It was so convenient for retaurants, bars, and little shops, being located right in the middle of the village. The house was large and comfortable. Beds were super comfortable, air conditioning in all bedrooms was very welcome and worked a treat. The kitchen was very well equipped and we ate many delicious home prepared meals in between our visits to several amazing local restaurants. We worried the pool would be a bit small for us, but it was a good size for us all to cool off after a hot day! We enjoyed a few city days via the easily accessed train station at Flaca and visited several different beaches- Platja Grau in Pals was a favourite for easy accessibility and relaxed vibe. Communication with owners and then agent was brilliant from start to finish. Thank you!"
