Family Getaway
My family and I wonderful time at Emerald Isle for a quick getaway. Kelly, our host was extremely kind and helpful and she has made the process of checking in and out very simple. The house was great, very close to the beach and all the restaurants in town. The pool was a huge bonus and provided a lot of family fun!

Amazing home!!
My husband and I stayed with our children and grandchildren. We had an amazing time. The house had all that we needed and was comfortable. The host was also very accommodating and responsive to any questions! Would stay again! The heated pool was a great Plus!!!

Perfect vacation!
We absolutely loved staying here. The neighborhood is so peaceful and it’s just a quick walk to the beach. The house is very clean and has everything you’d want, and the heated saltwater pool was the highlight of our trip! We plan to return soon.

Had a great couple days at this property! Close walk to the beach, awesome heated pool, in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Close to dining and shops too! Kelly was an awesome host and was so responsive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed with great communication. We would definitely stay at this property again!

Super Mother's Day Weekend!
This was the most wonderful and convenient place to stay with family. Everything was super clean and beautiful! Family fun isn't weather dependent; the beautiful beach which is a short walk, they have a ping pong table, corn hole, games, nice grill, and a beautiful pool large enough for everyone to enjoy. We all couldn't have been more pleased with this wonderful vacation home at the beautiful Emerald Isle. Thank you so much for the opportunity to create wonderful family memories at your amazing home.

Beautifully decorated, clean home in a great location. Host was attentive to any questions we had, and explained everything in detail prior to our visit. The pool was heated and immaculate clean, kitchen was well stocked and sheets/towels were comfortable and spotless. Excellent location as well. We were very pleased with our stay at the Emerald Isle. A wise choice!
The Emerald Owl House became our vacation home right away. Very roomy, but somehow with a cozier feel than some of the “sand castle” rentals we have experienced. We enjoyed the screened porch and private swimming pool! The host was immediately responsive to all of our inquiries. We have bookmarked this house for future trips to Emerald Isle!

Relaxing Weekend
We came for a baseball tournament and got to enjoy easy access to the beach and a wonderful pool during our downtime from baseball. The host answered all my questions quickly and the house had everything we needed for an enjoyable weekend. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood. There is an easy walk to the beach and it is located right off the bridge so close to many things. Thank you for hosting us!

Great family trip
This beach house was wonderful! It was relaxing, peaceful and fun! The location is convenient and quite, and the amenities were wonderful, heated pool, outdoor shower, pool toys, beach toy, chairs, and wagons provided. We are almost every meal out on the screened porch. It was honestly one of the best family vacations we ever had! Kelly was a wonderful property manager that was very easy to get a hold of. We will definitely book with her again.

We couldn't have asked for a better property to spend the last week of summer. From the excellent beach location to the backyard pool, this property is a winner. Neighborhood beach access is literally a 5 min. walk to clean and never crowded beach. The house is located walking distance or a short drive to grocery stores, restaurants, shops and mini golf. The owners/managers are very responsive. The house has everything you need for a great stay. We recommend this property and would love to return!

Emerald Owl House is AMAZING
From start to finish, Kelly’s Owl house was such a great experience for me and my family. Kelly’s communication was excellent and she made sure the pool water was to our preferred temp. The house was very clean and great floor plan. We spent equal time at the pool and down at the beach. The grocery store and much more was just a short car or golf cart ride away. We are already planning next summers vacation! Thank you Kelly for everything!!

5 Star - Kelly is AMAZING
First the house is beautiful! Wonder location on a quiet street. It takes less than 5 min to walk to the beach. Super close to the grocery story, miniature golf, water slides and go karts. The house is exactly as shown and the heated pool is amazing!!! For the value, location, ease of access to so many things it’s an ideal spot. I’m trying to buy it from her frankly. Kelly is amazing to work with and very accommodating and available. Granted we didn’t need anything but she checked in to make sure we got in ok, asked how things were going and if we needed anything and finally gave us amazing recommendations (even though we have been to Emerald Isle before several new places to explore). Simple a great experience, great host, great home and location. Ideal for a family and perhaps a couple of their friends. We will definitely book again!

Quiet Family Beach Spot
I cannot recommend this home enough! It is tucked in a small half cul-de-sac surrounded by shady trees with a shaded screened in deck and a front deck that always has an ocean breeze. Our 4 yo loved "his" room - the room with twin beds that also had a few books that he loved having to read at night. The bedroom with a full sized bed had a perfect corner for our infants pack and play crib (which also could fit easily in the master bedroom). The kitchen is small but well appointed and the queen bedroom is tucked behind the kitchen. It can be closed off creating a mini-apartment for my sister and her partner. The pool is absolutely perfect with tons of floats and toys that our 4yo had a blast with (and we loved shooting hoops!) We didnt use any of the beach stuff but it has plenty of that too including a wagon that would make a trip to the beach access easy. The owners were easy to communicate with and so accommodating. We are definitely planning to come back. It is perfect for our family and pup. If it is free you should book some time here! You wont be sorry!

Perfect Getaway
Kelly was an incredible host and “Emerald Owl House” was a perfect respite for my husband, me and our two Pom fur-babies. Everything about the house exuded a feeling of relaxation and comfort - no detail was over looked. Being able to check-in at 3:00, giving us an opportunity to relax before dinner (after unpacking) set the scene. The kitchen was well stocked and organized (a real plus for me) with everything needed to prepare in-home meals. The screened in porch was the perfect “dining room”. Retiring to a comfy bed each night meant that we awoke refreshed and ready to enjoy a day at the pool, beach, exploring EI, or just lounging around. Speaking of the pool - it was amazing - clean and large enough in which to swim. The neighborhood was perfect for walking our dogs and everyone we met was very friendly. The beach is a short walk from the house but one caution - the dunes are quite tall so there are quite a few steps to get across them. Since we are enjoying our twilight years we opted to rent a golf cart and drive a short distance to an easier beach access point. Many thanks to Kelly for a wonderful two weeks and we hope to return soon.

We spent the week of Thanksgiving at property. The property had everything we needed and was close to beach. The pool was very nice to have as the weather was warm. The owner Kelly was very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend the property.

This house was great. It was a short walk both to the beach and to shops & restaurants. Very quiet location. The pool was the best! Relaxing when we wanted to be lazy, but had some pool games when we wanted to have fun. Kelly was easy to communicate with and very responsive. We will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful! A great and comfy oasis.
We meet our friends for a long weekend. The house was perfect-it was tucked away in a quiet neighborhood which was close to the beach and to restaurants/shopping. We had a pool which they heated for us and we loved the outside space. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The part that was the absolute best was the check out process. In recent stays at other places, there were so many crazy rules and things we had to do which kept us from fully enjoying our trip. This home was the absolute best hands down. We just had to put our towels in a pile and turn on the dishwasher. I can’t tell you how much we all appreciated that. Also, the host communicated often and was extremely accommodating. This was a perfect place for what we needed. Thank you for making it easy, fun and had all we needed. It was also beautifully decorated.
