Whether preparing for a trip into the BWCAW or just wanting to experience Ely, this two bed cottage will offer you clean and comfy lodging. We have two rooms with 2 bedrooms each. They have one double bed, one queen bed and one roll-away.

Our own pillows and duvets will snuggle you at night, along with our organic cotton sheets. We are within walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and shopping- the Ely DQ is right next door.

I received a message with check in instructions in advance and a phone number if i had any problems. The property was clean and welcoming. It was quiet at night for sleeping despite being on the Main Street through town. The bathroom has been recently remodeled and is nice. I would stay here again. It’s small and cozy, but clean and comfortable.

A Great Place For the Ely Half Marathon!
This was the perfect location for us to stay, while we were in town for the Ely Half Marathon. We could walk to the main park for the race, walk to dinner, and most importantly walk to DQ for our celebration blizzard. Great location and perfect little hideaway for the four of us. Thank you!

UniquELY quaint….
I was actually impressed! It was the perfect layout, and the bed was as Cozy as I could have asked for. Very clean, organized and ready for the next guest. I’ll do it again the next time I’m in town! I sleep with the fan and it drowned out the road noise….. could affect others if you’re looking for silence.

What we expected
It's a great small place for a small family or couple trying to enjoy Northern Minnesota. Wifi was spotty but we didn't come up to sit on our computers. This was a great place to sleep and recharge and head out on another adventure. Will use it again when we are back in the area.

Combinations
When we arrived we found another couple in our unit. They misread the email and went to our cabin. The real concern was that the combination code was the same for all cabins. This is how they were in our assigned cabin. We just decided to switch cabins. I would recommend having different codes for each cabin that are regularly changed for security.

The property was not clean. Towels smelled musty. Toilet was dirty. Snowed a lot and property was not plowed or shoveled nor was a shovel provided. Batteries were dead on remote for television. Television was old and had lines in it. When the heat comes on it is very very loud. I will not stay again.

I'm all for budget properties, but just because a property does not have updated finishes, does not mean it needs to be dirty and disgusting. The shower was moldy and parts were flaking off. The grout between the shower floor tile was dirty and yellow. I almost didn't want to shower. There were dead bugs on the floor. The comforter had a white smear on it. We ended up leaving after one night (our reservation was for two) and couldn't get a response for a few days from the host. Very disappointing. This property is very close to the main road, so not very quiet, but that would have been overlooked if it were clean and cared for.

Great place to rest your head
It is a great place to stay. It was not noisy, being next to DQ & on Sheridan, we wondered. Beds are comfortable, but a sitting area would be nice instead of the extra bed.

3 day stay in Ely
My daughter and I stayed in the cottage for three days. The property manager had great communication in how to get checked in and it was really simple. The cottage was very clean and well stocked for us. It is nice that it is close to all the shops and restaurants in town so it was a quick 2 minute drive to get dinner at night. We did a lot of hiking and the cottage was a great central location to all the trails we went on. Would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Ely.

Nostalgic cabin across from Liquor store. Two beds (not two room). Very clean with super soft bedding. Bring your own toiletries. and shower shoes. Worth the price and a desire to return.

Very clean and compact. Good place to stay after a canoe trip! Parking a bit tight, might rather have parked next door in DQ lot instead of needing to back out onto Sheridan or take the narrow drive between units.
