"The weather was awful rain and cold but what a warm welcome we recieved staff and locals very helpful and informative they dont do food but recommended Georges fish bar and wow we wasnt disappointed cant wait to make a return visit "

"When we checked in, we did not stay in the actual Queen Catherine. Instead they walked us across the street to the three tuns hotel. I'm guessing it's part of it but they don't really make that known while booking. Otherwise it was a good stay and nice accommodation. Breakfast was good. "

"All in all nice little cottage for a couple and good as was pet friendly to go up Durham to visit our son up uni and take our dog to see him too. Cottage was nice a little place although i think the tv was slightly too high on wall. As we arrived there were 3 plumbing vans parked outside so had to park out side another cottage for bout hour n half till they moved their vans after going in pub at front of cottages before parking own car then outside our own cottage.
