"Fabulous hosts and a lovely little cabin, just perfect for myself and my deaf/blind dog who was attending a scent work trial nearby the following day. After a long drive, the small yard was perfect for my dog to explore while I unloaded our things and then I took her out into the bigger yard for an explore while being supervised by the chickens! The kitchen was perfect, the whole cabin was extremely clean, the bed was comfortable and the decking area just perfect for an autumn evening in the sunshine. Overall, a perfect experience and such kind and wonderful hosts."

"In summary - quiet, rural, friendly. Beautifully decorated, comfy and warm room part of, but separate from, the main house. Lots of well behaved dogs, chooks, guinea fowl, cats to share the stay with. Bonus was the cooked breakfast! Axedale is on the rail bike trail and Bendigo has so much to offer!"
