Located in the seaside town of Lamoine, Maine, just a 25 minute drive to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, the property is nestled in 5 wooded acres and set back off the road. Just a 1/4 mile from Lamoine State Park and a 1/2 mile from Lamoine Beach . The Lobster Fisherman's Retreat is a 3800 sq. ft. home, comfortably accommodating up to 10 guests.

The home is perfect for family vacations being a multi-level property with gourmet kitchen, dining, living room, master suite, guest bedroom, full bath and laundry on the upper level and kitchen, dining, family room, two guest bedrooms, sleeping alcove, and full bath on the lower level.

"The lobster fisherman's retreat was a perfect home base for exploring Acadia and the surrounding area. Very peaceful, away from the main thoroughfare but still close enough for a short drive to Bar Harbor. The house is very spacious and comfortable. We especially appreciated the restaurant recommendations. A perfect place to stay for larger groups and families trying to avoid the crowds in Bar Harbor."

We arrived to learn the air conditioned house tha was advertised meant one portable in living room. The location was about 30 minutes to downtown. Sink in main bath would not shut off, windows would not open in master bed and there was no screen on door. So your their with no ac or fresh air. The grill would not heat over 275 so management brought a small grill and left it in fromt yard dirty, with no drip pans. The oven also was very slow to heat. There is better values for the money look for Those.

Could live here!
We were so impressed with this home! The size and comfort to allow our group of six the space and privacy was perfect. We enjoyed the firepit, saw a couple of deer, walked to the park almost every day (grandson caught mackerel), and convenient location to Bar Harbor. Acadia was beautiful (but crowded), and my husband and I participated in a SUCCESSFUL whale watch! Bar Harbor is beautiful! Thank you for sharing this home!
