"The hotel is recently completely renovated so everything is very new! The room is average size and nothing too special. We stayed at a time when the price was fairly reasonable but in the summer it’s crazy expensive and I personally wouldn’t pay that much. I’m sure the rooftop bar would be cool in the summer. The breakfast was very good but the gourmet coffee is a machine"

"Beautiful hotel, built in 1899 and maintained in excellent condition, near the water and just blocks away from Petoskey's shops and restaurants. We plan to stay here again the next time we travel to Petoskey."

"I’ve driven by with my family hundreds of times and always wondered what it was like inside and got the opportunity to see during a short ski trip. The hotel is a 140 year old gem that has an extremely friendly staff. I’ll be back again for sure. "

"A great place to stay while skiing. Price is very reasonable and only 10 minutes from Boyne Mountain."

"Since I’m visiting near post snow season, parking is easy and the resort is not crowded. Hard to find dining options apart from the cafe and restaurant in the lodge. You have to drive 30mins to Petoskey or Boyne city to eat. Hotel room is clean but old. And the staff are nice on cleaning the room. It’s not far to walk to the lift especially they have lift-side ski valet for free to securely keep your equipment."
