Brand new one bedroom, one bathroom located in the center of historic downtown Ellsworth.
One of two similar second floor apartments that could be rented together if available.

Steps from some of the areas best restaurants, bars, shops and The Grand theater. Downtown restaurants within a short walking distance include the highly rated Provender Kitchen, Finns Irish Pub, Airline Brewing, Fogtown Beer Garden, Margaritas, Union River Lobster House and Serendib. John Edwards Market is just a block away for a great assortment of wine and cheeses as well as grocery needs. Downtown has become known in the area for its eclectic mix of shops with something for everyone. Walking distance to the harbor and library. Downtown Ellsworth is conveniently located in the center of the areas best attractions such as Acadia National Park, Schoodic Point, Bar Harbor, Blue Hill, Lamoine and Surry to name a few.

Although there is not a private parking spot the building has public lots on both sides. The main lot is located directly in front of city hall, police and fire making its location extremely safe. EV parking and charging is approximately 500 ft.

We enjoyed our visit with our 86 year old dad. Our visit was a family reunion with our dad, uncle and aunt from Florida and cousins who all live in the Ellsworth, Trenton and Bar Harbor area. The apartment was perfect. Clean quiet and updated. Above a children’s store with hours of 10-5. Very quiet overnight and morning. Would definitely stay again

Perfect location!
Comfy apartment and great location to enjoy all the fun and delicious restaurants in Ellsworth! We took wonderful hikes in Acadia each day and found a new dinner spot in the evening. My husband and I enjoyed my first retirement trip here and highly recommend it!!

Comfy stay in Ellsworth
My partner and I had a great stay at Lisa's property! It is centrally located in Ellsworth and about a 30-40 minute drive from Acadia National Park - great spot to see everything but still be able to have a quite night away when needed. Apartment was well designed and comfortable - we would stay again if we're ever back in Maine!

My husband and I stayed here and were highly satisfied. Loved the decor of the place and it was very clean. It looks brand new. We loved that it provided a smart TV, a coffee maker, and dishes. The place was very cozy and we had no issues whatsoever. Would definitely stay here again!

A Week in Maine
This was an outstanding place to stay. It was super clean and comfortable. After long days of hiking in Acadia, it was the perfect place to relax. Ellsworth is a nice little town and you can experience all of it easily by staying here. Linda was really responsive to any of our questions. I would definitely stay here in the future.

Acadia and Bar Harbor!
We had a great stay here in Ellsworth! There were several options in town for food/drinks which were walkable but we spent most of our time in Bar Harbor since we were there to see Acadia. 30 minute drive ( + or - ) depending which part you wanted to go to which was super doable! The apartment was clean, cozy, and spacious with everything we needed. Perfect place to stay when visiting the area, would highly recommend!

AMAZING PLACE!!
We wanted to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary in Bar Harbor but didn’t want to fight the crowds so we chose Ellsworth and found Linda and Hans’s gorgeous apartment. It is beautifully decorated, so clean, and so comfortable!! Don’t pass this one up!! Ellsworth has everything you need and Bar Harbor is an easy 20-minute drive away! Perfect all around!!

Adorable apartment close to Acadia
This apartment was super adorable and close to many restaurants, bars, and shopping. With traffic, a 30 to 40 min drive to Acadia/Bar Harbor. Apartment was very clean. Communication with the owners was superb as we had a few questions and needed to rely info a few times during our trip. I would highly recommend staying here as it was far enough from the crowds but close to many attractions.

So comfortable!
Perfect stay for anyone with allergies and asthma. Finding an away stay is a real health challenge. Linda and Hans truly understand that here with a clean, easy to care for rental and attention to avoiding allergy triggers for us. Going so far as to wash bedding and towels in allergy free detergent and no perfumes - Thank You! There is no mold or weird old house odors (that i struggle with other rentals). Location was sweet on Main Street and convenient to driving to Bar Harbour, College of the Atlantic, Acadia... Hans and Linda are responsive and communicate well. Definitely staying there again.

Great stay for Acadia and more!
This apartment was a great place to stay for exploring much of the Maine coast and Acadia National Park. The apartment was impeccably clean, communication with the property manager was prompt and clear, and the apartment provided everything we needed and more. We loved the location of the apartment. Situated above a business on Ellsworth's Main Street, we were within steps of restaurants and shops. Despite the central location, it was incredibly quiet. As for Acadia: We loved staying in Ellsworth, as opposed to Bar Harbor. Bar Harbor was overcrowded with tourists--everywhere. Ellsworth was a normal, pleasant, lovely town with everything one could want, and NOT overrun with tourists. We would stay here again with no hesitation, and highly recommend this lovely apartment.

Lovely apartment without a view
A little hideaway and is BEAUTIFULLY decorated, full kitchen with all you need for cooking and very quiet although in the middle of Ellsworth downtown. I recommend the place but just realize you have a drive to the park but it is convenient for traveling to other wonderful places like Schoodic Point and Corea. We came to see Acadia National Park and thought it would be closer since it is only ~15 miles but the road going to the park is VERY crowded and it takes 30-45 min to get to the park or Bar Harbor during the traffic in the summer. Still it is a LOVELY place and definitely worth considering. One other note, there is not a washer and dryer, we didn't need it while there for 4 days but if you stay longer, just wanted to share for information.

My teen daughter and I booked this place for our time at Acadia during our last-minute road trip to Maine. I wasn’t expecting much given it was a last-minute booking during the high season, but it was better than we likely would have found if we’d made a reservation months before. Spacious, tastefully decorated, well-equipped, quiet and comfortable in a fun location in downtown Ellsworth. Yummy restaurants, coffee shop and a grocery store are just downstairs. It was quite hot when we stayed, so we were happy for the air conditioning too. Less than half an hour to Acadia. Linda and Hans were incredibly responsive and helpful when we reached out. We slept very well on the new mattress. This place does NOT disappoint.

Delightful place to stay near Acadia
My wife and I stayed in Ellsworth so that we could enjoy Acadia and the Schoodic and we were delighted with this apartment. The accommodations in Bar Harbor didn't look like quite as good a value, so we decided to stay here and we're so glad we did! The apartment is super clean, well-appointed, and decorated so nicely. The best part to me is that it's right in the middle of Ellsworth, so you can pop out the door and be right in the middle of a charming downtown area with nice shops and restaurants. The ride into Bar Harbor/Acadia is about a half hour, which isn't bad at all (but it does get traffic-y between 5:00 and 6:00 pm). It's about the same to get to the Schoodic, which is also a great place to go. We had a little trouble with the keypad lock and gave Hans a call and he came right in to fix things up. Bottom line: A super-clean delightful apartment with responsive hosts in an adorable town not far from Acadia and the Schoodic. What more could you ask for? Would definitely stay here again.

NOTE* If you book the property through Vrbo make sure you select the insurance setting you actually want. Between booking through Vrbo or Expedia, one of the options either doesn't make it obvious or just doesn't tell you when it automatically charges you a huge security deposit! We would've preferred the other option which was like a non-refundable insurance policy but for much less. But Linda released the deposit as soon as we checked out. Anyways... I stayed at Linda and Hans's property for 3 nights with my boyfriend early October to catch some fall foliage in Acadia. I cannot recommend this property enough! The place was extremely clean, organized, and looked exactly as the photos showed. A night or so before our stay, Linda followed up with us on Vrbo to message us the property details and how to access the unit. We had some trouble getting in but when I called Linda, she picked up right away even though it was late (10ish) and we were inside within 2 minutes. You can tell that they put a lot of work and thought into prepping the place and it was as good as, if not better, than a hotel! All of our needs were accommodated for. My favorite part was the Tupperware!! I hadn't even considered that aspect of our trip but we ended up using at least half of the Tupperware provided for meal leftovers and most importantly, hiking snacks! So that was a detail that was greatly appreciated and overlooked in my own planning. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

Please read this review!
This place was perfect! It may sound strange but it’s the little things. The place smelled good. Loved the layout, it was quiet, nice and roomy for my husband and I. There were baskets in the bathroom on the wall that made it nice to be able to have somewhere to put your bathroom things. There was a nice full length mirror in the bedroom so I could do my makeup while my husband got ready in the bathroom. Blackout blinds. Dimming lights. King size comfortable bed. The place was one of the best short term rentals we have stayed at. They put a lot of time into the details to make sure the stay was just perfect. It was a perfect location in town. Coffee shop just a few doors down when you walk downstairs. Restaurants are all within walking distance. Shops, cute town. Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park were a short drive I would say around 30 min. Gave us time to enjoy our coffee on the way. We had no issues at all. We would without a hesitation stay again. Studio in Ellsworth
This is a great space for two. The apartment was very clean, quiet and nicely furnished. Had quick question upon arrival and the host answered promptly. There are a few stairs to second level, not a problem for us. Enjoyed restaurants in walking distance and shops too. We trekked over to Bar Harbor/Acadia every day. Highly recommend.
