This charming rental property has been lovingly updated inside and out. Deceivingly larger on the inside than it looks from the outside, we have plenty of room for everyone!

We now have Starlink internet so you can work while you are here (if you really want to) and everyone can stream on their devices!

A combination of chic, classy and traditional decor welcomes you while the neutral color pallet soothes away your daily worries and invites you to relax and unwind. Close enough to all that Door County has to offer yet quiet enough to forget the hustle and bustle.

This adorable house sits on one and a half acres with the perfect front porch for enjoying your morning coffee or an afternoon glass of wine. The large open field area is perfect for throwing the football or frisbee and overlooks 2 of our neighbors often photographed, picture perfect red barns. You might even see our neighbors 2 goats šŸ!

Inside you will find the perfect floor plan to fit all of your needs and allergy friendly hardwood floors throughout!
The first floor includes a living room complete with a realistic faux fireplace, a dining room with seating for 6 adults plus we offer a highchair, an open kitchen floor plan, a pantry with mini fridge for drinks, a bedroom with a California King size bed, chair and closet, a full bath, a laundry closet and a family room with loveseat and toy cabinet.
Upstairs you will find a full bath, a bedroom with a Queen bed and small closet, a small nursery nook with crib and rocking chair and another bedroom with a Queen size bed, chair and a walk in closet. For your child's added safety, we have baby proofed all of the lower outlets in the house.

Perfect for families, couples, get-togethers and small reunions, this property allows you to escape to a peaceful country setting while remaining only minutes away from all of the fun-filled places, activities, shops, parks, beaches, water sports and so much more Door County has to offer.

After a full day of activities, pick up some firewood and sā€™mores fixings and end your night under the stars sitting by a campfire in our popular fire pit circle.

The house is great. Our only hiccup was the bedroom with no AC unit - given that we stayed in summer, the hot days caused this room to get very hot. Otherwise it was a fantastic stay!

Love the large yard
We enjoyed our stay here. It is quiet and peaceful. Our grandson loved playing in the yard. Our only concern was before booking this house, we specifically asked if the linens and towels were washed in hypoallergenic detergents and were told yes. We found Tide detergent above the washer and dryer. Please consider some of your guests may have skin sensitivities.

My family enjoyed our stay in this home. It was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I think the owner shows a lot of attention to the small details, which demonstrates how much they care about the property. I was very happy that there was a full-size crib onsite and the location was quiet.

Quiet country road with nature abounding
We love this comfortable home as a Door County getaway. We love being close to Newport Park as well as just walking down these beautiful country roads, yet we can jump in our car and are close to all the shops and restaurants. My grandkids love the two cute goats that are in the fenced yard next door which they knew from last year, and hoped were still there. Enjoyed the campfire too.

Previous reviews all spot on. Very clean and well organized. Beds were great. Very thoughtfully set up for families. This is the farthest North we ever stayed, but it was nice to be out of the traffic of other areas. No need to go to Newport for meteor gazing- yard was perfect!

Fall getaway
My son and I had a wonderful stay at the end of October! Despite the rainy days, we found plenty of board games to keep us busy and then explored the area once the weather improved. This property was the absolute cleanest rental we have ever seen! We found everything we needed, and it made our stay so relaxing. Such a cute house, and my son enjoyed checking on the goats next door. The beach just down the road as well as Newport State Park were so convenient and beautiful places to visit. Kick Ash Coffee was a fun find in Ellison Bay, too. We experienced a fluke power outage, and the owner responded to my message SO quickly to help us get it resolved! They are fantastic!

Lovely family vacation
We had a great stay at this house. Itā€™s definitely away from all the action of door co, so if youā€™re looking for a quiet, off the beaten path vacay, this house is for you. Initially, it felt like there were a lot of rules. There are notes around the house about various policies/rules. At first, it felt a bite stifling. But after chatting with Val and Dan, I can see that it is all because they care a lot about their guests having a great stay. And it ended up being really nice having all the light switches labeled! We loved the fire pit and my kids loved the space to run. My 8 year old literally ran back and forth between the house and the neighbors goats multiple times a day!

Annual DC Family Getaway
Our family of 5 (3 kids, ages 4, 11, 13) enjoyed our stay so much. We are very familiar with Door County and we vacation there often. This quint home rests right off of the main stretch. It took us less then 10 minutes to get to Sister Bay each day when we wanted to go boating. We had all the amenities that we needed in the house. The owners take a lot of pride in it's upkeep and showing their guests hospitality. They have books and brochures available for you to read, games in the closets and extra blankets. There is no cleaning fee, as they have also left out an easy list of to do's that allow them to avoid charging one. We had wifi, cable TV and plenty of comforts. I personally enjoyed being outside the home. The boys played ball in the yard and we rosted smores one night around the fire pit. There is a grill, so save some money and go to the Piggly Wiggly and grill in! We played board games, swung in our hammock we brought and overall just had the most relaxing, but fun vacation last week. Thank you for allowing us to "take over" your home and enjoy it's charms for 5 days!

Connecting with College Friends in a Cozy Home
We were five college friends from four states getting together for a weekend to catch up and make new memories. The location was great where we were close to towns but had plenty of privacy. A bummer we couldn't use the outside fire pit because of a burn ban but the owners appropriately let us know ahead of time. Great space for everyone with clear directions on cleaning/labels placed around the house. Our only feedback was they requested towels be washed/dried before we left and because we were leaving early in the morning, we washed/dried the towels the night before and some people had to adjust their showering/morning routine because of it. Truly a lovely home that was cozy, comfortable and accessible to all door county has to offer.
