At any moment, you can step away from the serenity that Birch Grove offers, and within a four minute drive be laid back with your feet in the sand feeling the cool Lake Michigan waves roll in at Ellison Bay Beach.

THE SPACE

☆☆ BEDROOMS ☆☆

The primary bedroom brings together a stunning combination of elegant farmhouse hues with a king bed, large windows overlooking the secluded backyard, two nightstands with bedside lamps, a designated workstation in the corner and a large flat screen television so you can watch your favorite shows in bed. The primary bedroom features its own private en-suite bath with double sinks, a whirlpool tub, walk-in shower and luxury-grade hospitality bath and beauty products.

On the other side of the living room, you’ll find three other bedrooms, including the secondary primary. The secondary primary bedroom features the gorgeous contemporary farmhouse design, framed around a king size bed, as well as another private en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and large vanity.

Finally, the third bedroom features two twin beds, while the fourth bedroom offers a double bed with a single twin bed lofted above. These rooms share a full bathroom with a sparkling bathtub and shower.

All bedrooms feature luxury hospitality-grade mattresses, linens and bath products so that you fall asleep in no time at all. You don’t have to leave the comfort of your bed to catch a favorite show; there are brand new smart TVs in each room, and YouTube TV is provided for guests’ use.

There are three bathrooms spread throughout the home, all of which are furnished with elegant fixtures and designer finishes. The master bathroom offers a walk-in shower and an elegant whirlpool tub and plenty of luxury hospitality-grade towels and bath products.

The second ensuite bathroom has a beautiful walk-in shower and large farmhouse style vanity. Black matte and contemporary farmhouse finishes flow into the third bathroom, where you can enjoy a hot steamy moment in the sparkling bathtub / shower.

The spacious, welcoming great room centers around a classic farmhouse-style fireplace, casting a warm glow on chilly evenings. Just to the right, a custom cocktail bar awaits—the perfect spot to craft your favorite drinks to accompany the evening. Above the fireplace, a wall-mounted smart TV makes movie nights cozy and convenient, while large windows and a back door offer serene woodland views. The home sits on 5 acres in Ellison Bay and offers a quiet and peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. A cozy, shaded front porch welcomes you home and is complete with outdoor rocking chairs to sit and enjoy your morning coffee in the vibrant air. Outside also features a wood deck with propane grill and a three season gazebo for your family gatherings.

Gazebo & Outdoor Deck: Our three season gazebo and private wooded deck overlooking the woods is an amenity that truly stands out. During the busy summer months in Door County, spending a quiet afternoon or evening making food on the grill and enjoying the sights and sounds of nature in the gazebo is the perfect way to wind down the day. There are comfortable swivel rocking chairs in the gazebo, while the deck offers a spacious patio table and umbrella located on the deck, as well as Adirondack chairs.

Front Porch: The front porch provides the perfect setting for your morning coffee, your latest book or a good conversation with a friend or family member in comfortable rocking chairs. Overlooking the woods, this quaint and quiet porch will allow you to start your morning or end your day with ease.

When you stay at Birch Grove, you’ll have the property entirely to yourself. Take advantage of the amenities available; bring your laptops, connect to the Starlink powered high speed WiFi, get work done before you play, and use the full-size washer and dryer in the private laundry room to stay on top of your laundry.

There is plenty of space to park on the driveway, and you’ll be given a digital key code to access the property.

From here, you’re less than five minutes from the local grocery store, gas stations, coffee shops, locally-owned shops, ice cream shops, and some of the area’s most popular shops and restaurants. You’re also a short drive from beaches, parks, playgrounds, walking & hiking trails, and nature centers.

Off-street parking for a maximum of six (6) cars. Less than a five minute drive to Newport State park, downtown Ellison Bay and less than fifteen minute drive to downtown Sister Bay!


The home is ideally located 2 minutes north of downtown Ellison Bay and 15 minutes from Sister Bay, just off Highway 42. It's very easy to get to, but there also can be traffic on 42. While we're confident it won't hinder your stay, it's important to note that you may hear cars passing by the home on the highway. Additionally, while our home is close to a number of northern Door County’s main attractions, you will need to drive to all locations due to the highway. We do recommend that guests be prepared to drive to and from our home as that's the best means of transportation to and from the house.

Birch Grove does have external cameras that record 24/7 monitoring the driveway, the front porch and the back deck.
