The Georgia "Rocky River Lodge" (and her sister "Riverstone Lodge (VRBO #324274") is your dream cabin that is large enough to accommodate large groups that gives you the rustic cabin feel with all the features you would have at home! Located directly on the river we have all the amenities including canoes, kayaks and tubes that are provided for your enjoyment along with a basket ball court, volleyball court, horse shoes and for a memorable vacation in the North Georgia Mountains near the quaint town of Ellijay.

Our upscale cabin is located in the beautiful gated river community of Coosawattee River Resort situated directly on the Coosawattee River.

Awesome property
We had a bunch of friends get together to enjoy a relaxing weekend, and there were zero complaints. Communication and check in were a breeze. The house was clean and packed with amenities. We would definitely stay here again without a second thought.

INCREDIBLE!
Our church brought our young adult group here for a weekend of rest and it did not disappoint! The property and cabin were perfect. Everything inside and out was just spotless. Ian was very responsive and helpful when I reached out with a couple of questions. It exceeded all expectations!! It is the perfect spot for a retreat weekend. We will be returning!

Wonderful weekend!
Once again we spent a wonderful weekend at Rocky River. It's the perfect place for a group gathering. There's ample space for all to spread out, and also enjoy meal times together. This year the weather wasn't so great but we didn't mind hanging around the well appointed cabin. Sarah and Ian are the perfect hosts and will do everything they can to help with anything that might come up. We keep on coming back every year because it's a perfect fit for our group. I highly recommend Rocky River for your next family gathering.

Wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful time here! The basketball court, volleyball net, ping pong table and foosball kept the kids busy. The house was close enough to Ellijay's cute little town with great restaurants. We loved seeing all the deer around!

Great Place to stay for a group or large family
The cabin is great and has a lot of good things about it. Tons of activities and a hot tub that was very clean when we got there. Rules were easy to follow and had a great view of the River. We would come back to this next time we do a mountain trip.

Great weekend!
Just another wonderful weekend at Rocky River Lodge. It's such a perfect place for a nice getaway. It was easy to communicate with Sarah and Ian, and are very helpful with any additional requests. We highly recommend this and their sister lodge Riverstone.

Beautiful home
We brought our youth group on a retreat and the house was great for us! Plenty of space, we loved the River and hot tub! Volleyball and basketball were a hit with the kids! The kitchen was perfect to set up a food bar during meals! We really enjoyed our time in the mountains!!

Family getaway
Overall we were very pleased with our stay. On the day we checked in I was a little early and had the opportunity to meet Mr. Hamilton. Ian is an amazing person and gave me a personal tour of his property and even told me about some of the outdoor activities that were near by. My wife and children had an amazing time and we look forward to visiting again.

we loved it and we give you for stars the things we didn't is that we stepped on to many rocks and we fond a snake in the lake but when we loved it at the end the rooms are great the porch has a pretty view basked ball was funny valley ball to.

Amazing - You'd be Crazy to go Elsewhere
Wonderful cabin in the mountains of Georgia. It is in a very secluded spot, but you feel like you're at a resort with the endless amounts of things to do. You can't be bored here, especially if you're an active person and like to be outside. Everything was in great condition and Ian made sure if something was wrong, he'd have it taken care of. Can't wait to come back!

Awesome time!!
We had wonderful experience at Rocky River Lodge! There was 12 of us, ranging from 3 years old to forties:) It was clean and wonderfully set up. The view and backyard were perfect. We enjoyed all the rocking chairs and hammock chairs on the balconies!! We enjoyed the river!!!!! It was an ideal location, as there was something for everyone! We all wished we had stayed longer and plan to book this same cabin again!!

Amazing amenities
We took a short 4 day trip to this amazing home on the river. It is one of the nicest homes we have ever stayed in. The owner goes above and beyond to male sure your stay is amazing. The owners provide laundry soap as well as trash bags and dishwasher soap for the whole length of your stay. They also provide tubes, kayaks and canoes winch is great saved us a ton of room on packing those ourselves. The home is beautifully decorated. This would be a great place to host a reunion as there are tons of sleeping options available all throughout the house. We can’t wait to go back.
