Beautiful, clean cabin on large lot on the rivee
Our two families of 4 and 5 stayed very comfortably in this cabin. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were outstanding. Highly recommend!

Great Cabin
The cabin was larger than expected with plenty of room to sleep 7 grown fellas. We had a great time and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet cabin on the river.

GREAT Waterfront vacation home and Resort
The home and the community were great. This was our second year booking at Happy Jacks. The hosts are kind, helpful and make staying at the property a breeze. We drive from Florida— the facilities are well worth the drive. Everything was like it was presented in the advertisement, maybe even better. All of the furnishings were high class with a rustic flare. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked so we could prepare nice meals for our group. The resort facilities were plentiful. Gorgeous Relaxing Setting on the Water
Our family group could not have been happier with Happy Jacks! The view was absolutely gorgeous and when we weren't out exploring we enjoyed the outdoor area with the amazing view and cooked several meals in the well equipped kitchen. We saw deer large groups of deer each evening to the delight of all of our group!

Riverside retreat
Our stay at HappyJacks could not have been better!! The house was perfect for the 5 of us with beds to spare. Well stocked kitchen and Bathrooms. Relaxing and private spot with the peaceful music of the river over rocks at our feet! Loved exploring Ellijay and Blue Ridge nearby. Also a real treat to have visiting deer each morning in our yard! Great family getaway!!

Fantastic Family Getaway
Our family of 9 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Happy Jack's! We saw deer on the property every night... lots of them! We didn't use the resort amenities but it looks like there is quite a bit to offer. The River view is absolutely beautiful and very relaxing.

Happy Jack made us Happy!
This property is wonderful. Our grandson Jack (age 6) said he didn't want to leave. Weather was wet and cold, but we were warm and cozy. I would recommend this property and I would love to come back in the spring or summer to enjoy it even more.

Family Vacation
The cabin was very spacious for 11 people. So beautiful and very clean. Everyone enjoyed the basement game area. The owner answered many questions and went out of her way to accommodate us and make our stay enjoyable. Saw many deer every night. Enjoyed the fire pit and horshoes. Also swam every day and enjoyed our stay immensely.

Happy Jacks’s IS GREAT!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Happy Jacks. The facilities were perfect. There was sooooo much to do within the neighborhood. We floated the river, which was chilly but fun. We bought corn at the local feed store to feed the deer, which came to see us morning and night. All around a great place to stay. We were busy with so many outside events, we didn’t take enough time to enjoy the beautiful facilities. We home to come back and relax next time!

Absolutely beautiful!
My family and I stayed at Happy Jacks for Thanksgiving. It exceeded our expections! We went straight to the water upon arrival! It was beautiful! The cabin was spacious. The kitchen was very well equipped to cook and eat our Thanksgiving dinner. The huge table was perfect for our family of 10. We spent a lot of time there eating and playing games! In the evenings, we enjoyed the fire pit, eating s'mores, and listening to the water. We had an amazing time at Happy Jacks and will definitely come again!

Do yourself a favor…
… and stay here. I’ve been in a lot of rentals, this one I felt was maintained at a higher quality than any other. You can tell the owners treat this as their own home instead of churning thru guests on warn furniture and amenities. Inside and out was exactly what you would want it to be for our group of 11 including kids. The outdoor space by the river and on the patio is perfect. If you do stay, do yourself another favor and bring tubes for everyone and float down the river to the house from east park.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
We have been renting a cabin in Ellijay/Blue Ridge area since our now 18 year old daughter, was 2 and it is one of our favorite traditions! Happy Jack's is at the top of our favorite rentals, ever! The location right on the river, huge outdoor area and beautiful, spacious cabin were all perfect! The cabin was stocked with anything you could need, beds were super comfortable, there were plenty of hooks for towels, coats, etc (no-one ever has enough of those), our son loved the game room and it was beautifully decorated. Our family had more than enough space to spread out and we loved being able to sit right by the river to eat a meal and have a fire to roast s'mores and listen to music. we also had so many deer come right up to the cabin and even cross the river right in front of us (never seen that before). Aileen was super to work with and very responsive. We will definitely be back to Happy Jack's and definitely recommend this cabin! It also looks like it would be awesome for warm weather too (maybe we will book again in the summer).

Great vacation!
I've stayed in dozens of vrbo homes and this one is Excellent! It had everything you could ask for and more. I spent a week here with my husband, father, and aunt and uncle. We were all very comfortable and cooked most meals in the fully stocked kitchen. We loved spending time just watching the river and wildlife. It was an amazing week! Would definitely stay here again.

Happy Jacks and Aileen were Awesome
Our party was 4 sisters and our husbands. Happy Jacks was the perfect venue for the annual get together. Scheduling was easy. As we approached the date Aileen was very informative and communicative. Happy Jacks was spotlessly clean the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. The proximity to the river was perfect and we spent the majority of our time outside enjoying the perfect setting. Every evening was spent enjoying the fire pit and sometimes during the day. We kayaked and fished and had deer in the yard every day. Happy Jacks could not have been more perfect. Everyone raved about everything Happy Jacks had to offer.
