We stayed here while visiting family with our dog. The huge backyard was perfect, the location was beautiful and quiet. Clean and homey, we will be staying here again!
We have stayed at Betsy's many times. It's our go to place when we are in the area. Feels like you are in the country but close to everything you need.
We always look forward to our stay at "Betsys Place"! Very clean, super comfy beds and lovely spacious backyard to relax in! Well appointed kitchen. Very quiet street, we always rest well here and enjoy our stay. Very close proximity to Fair Hill Natural Resource Area trailheads and stables.
A lovely, peaceful property. The house was immaculate. It was a perfect retreat for our multigenerational family between graduation events in Newark, DE. It was nice to be away from the crowds.
We had a wonderful experience staying in this home. We loved the yard and being right next to Fair Hill. Betsy was wonderful to work with and so welcoming. We highly recommend!
Such a comfortable place to stay! Fully stocked kitchen, big rooms with comfortable beds and linens. Everything is clean and the appliances are new. Sweet welcome gift of pastries and water. Quiet neighborhood. Easy to access and property host was very responsive.
This was our second stay this year. The house has a cozy farmhouse feel and the location is great for visiting all of our family. Our pup loves the large fenced yard. We'll be back again!
We were competing at an equine event at the Fair Hill NWR stabling area. This adorable house was perfect for our group of five adults and so close to the stabling area. Very clean, really comfy beds, and lovely hosts who were great with communication and organization. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed our stay. Property is clean and has supplies you would need. Kitchen has refrigerator, coffee maker, dishes and microwave. Large backyard. Host was very communicative and helpful. Check in was easy. I would definitely recommend.
This super comfy little farmhouse was the perfect place to stay while visiting our family in the area. We brought our dog with us and he loved the large fenced in yard. The house looked even better in person than in the pictures! When does that happen? Please don't book up too much... We want to come back soon!
We were in town for a dog show. The house and yard were so comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. The house was well equipped for our needs and the yard was fabulous for us and our dogs! Previous guests had not picked up all their dog’s waste in the yard, but we tried to leave it cleaner than we found it!
The place was cozy and the house with its fenced yard and the community around was absolutely calm. We had work in Delaware... it was quite close and access to shopping and most centers in Delaware.
Suited our family and dog very well.
The icing on the cake was the large fenced backyard.. our dog loved it... ;-)
Thank you very much...
We came to the area for trout fishing at White Clay Creek Park which was beautiful but too high for fishing. A disastrous breakfast at the Spork brought us to Fair Hills NRA. What a fantastic place. Horses everywhere, a covered bridge, fishing, hiking, everything we could ask for.
The house was a great refuge at the end of each day; sitting on the porch, or in front of the fire to relax. It was clean, spacious, and welcoming. Thanks to Betsy for hosting us and we look forward to a return visit.
