"My wife and I have enjoyed our stay here immensely...its queit...The rooms are clean and spacious and decorated rustic ,right down to the fisherman lamps and trout door handles on the dressers .They are also reasonably priced..On the property is a restaurant with fine food..(.i highly recommend.. duck a la orange and campfire trout) also , there is a tavern that sells food..and a fly shop that would satisfy any fisherman. .If your a person who wants to indulge in a vacation at lake placid and dont want to spend a fortune on accommodations, too...i assure you this is the perfect place for you... Clean, looks brand new, easy parking, great customer service, especially front desk staff, and especially “Maansi’ who checked us in, such a helpful girl, she was a great support with our requests, the hotel is close to main street, our room with balcony was pretty spacious. Super close to an awesome Indian restaurant “ Heritage Indian Grill’ which we loved, loved and dined at 3 times. Wished the hotel included complimentary breakfast otherwise its 10/10, We Loved our 4 night stay there! Thank you, Thank you Cambria!! "

"We were in Lake Placid for the World Championships for Bobsled and Skeleton. We arrived in foggy and rainy conditions and had an issue with slippery conditions. The staff was excellent in attending to our concerns. The rooms were immaculate and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was big and had everything we needed. I particularly liked the radiator being right under the towel bar so I could have a warm towel after a shower. The rooms have their own thermostats so you can control each room’s temp. There’s a small refridge in each room and a bottle of Saratoga water. They offer a breakfast basket delivered to your door which is filled with little pastries, yogurt, jams, hard boiled eggs, oranges and some other goodies. Hot coffee was delivered in a big thermos. It exceeded my expectations. I think we could have gone to the reception area for breakfast, also. The reception room, where we checked in, was very welcoming, especially after a long travel day. There was a fire going and I just wanted to plop down in one of the big chairs and zonk out. I was very impressed by the attention to detail with the whole experience. Carolina and Patrick on the staff were particularly helpful. I didn’t realize the rooms had no tvs til we got there, but we didn’t miss them at all. I highly recommend staying here."
