The house is clean, the beds were super comfortable, and Jonathan was quick to communicate. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Elizabeth City!
The place was very clean, beds were comfy, the upstairs bathroom could use some TLC, sink was wobbly and the tub felt as though it would go through the floor, cable/ internet kept cutting out.
We walked to the downtown area for breakfast innthe morning, very convenient
My friends and I really enjoyed this property. We all remarked at how well this older home had been renovated. The host Jon lived two houses away, so was on the spot when we had a bit of trouble using the locking mechanism. It's a quick walk through a college campus to get to fun breweries, good restaurants and a waterfront park. Highly recommend this affordable stay.
We enjoyed it a lot! Nice property, well appointed, beds were very comfortable. Jonathan came over to help us with the internet-which was exciting! Some properties don’t even respond!! I would definitely stay here again!!
We wanted to be near family in Camden so the location was perfect! Was also in walking distance to Downtown Historic EC with good choice of restaurants and breweries 😉. Beds were soooo comfortable with ample linen and towels. Thank you
We travel to Elizabeth City every 3 months or so,to visit family. We have 3 grandchildren that spend as much time with us as possible while we are there. This house was perfect, and very child friendly. They loved the bunk room and all of the touches that made them feel at home.We we’re able to walk to down town to eat or shop.We also enjoyed having the fenced yard and used the grill that was provided. It was perfect. The host was very near by which gave us comfort if we needed anything, which we did not.Would definitely recommend this property
We were in town for a softball tournament nearby. Location was convenient. Area was quiet even though there were plenty of neighbors. It was obvious a lot of upgrades had been made to the house. It was clean and nicely decorated. Owner was responsive which I appreciated.
This is a beautiful, comfortable home in Elizabeth City! Perfect location, within in walking distance to all Main Street attractions and close to the water. The host was very responsive. We had a wonderful time visiting with family. Elizabeth City is such a quaint little town. I highly recommend this house as a lovely home away from home!
Came for a family reunion. Owner is very quick to respond. Let us come in a little early which was so nice because we had awhile til the reunion started.
The Place was great. It was within walking distance of variety of restaurants and a short driving distance to the Dismal Swamp State Park. The National Dismal Swamp Park was only a little further. We found some dirty Dishes and Pans in the cupboards but that's more on the previous guests than the owner. Everything else was clean. The beds were very comfortable as was the couch and loveseat in the Living room. We would certainly stay here again.
This house is beautiful. It has lovely hardwood floors, a great kitchen with everything you need and more, and very comfortable beds. Jonathan is always quick to respond to any questions you might have and is very accommodating. This will definitely be our go to house when we are in Elizabeth City and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in the area.
Hotels are limited in the area and we found this gem!!
Great location and close to everything we needed. 5 minutes to restaurants & bars. Perfect for our out of town softball trip. Only 7 minutes to the softball fields which was great for the early morning games. Great place to stay.
This place is exactly as advertised. Great location for our stay in Elizabeth City. Good communication from the owner. I really liked the house layout and furnishings. Kid friendly. We will definitely be staying here during future visits to EC.
Three brothers and two of their wives stayed for weekend trip! Everything was exactly as described, freshly decorated and very clean. Linens, soap, towels and well equipped kitchen. Keurig coffer maker. Liquid soap and shampoo. Washer and dryer. We thoroughly enjoyed, and would definitely only stay again if available.
Very nicely furnished and convenient location to downtown Elizabeth City
We had a very good stay - all the furnishings are great quality and the kitchen had everything we needed. The place was very clean and tidy. Comfortable beds. Very friendly owner. It was nice to be able to walk down to the restaurants and shops and the neighborhood was quiet. I would stay here again and explore more of the kayaking options. We were in town for the Paddle for the Border event at the Great Dismal Swamp.
