"We all enjoyed this cabin on the lake. It was well-equipped. The kids loved the bunk room. Alot of space which worked well for our crew as room to play and visit but also well thought out for time together for meals and crafts. We will stay again if in the area. It did not matter to us, but for some it may, we did not have access to a washer/dryer and there is also no dishwasher. Again, we would stay given the location and other amenities in the house. "

"This cabin is nicely updated and furnished. It was the perfect size for a couple or a small family. It was easy to access and close to everything we wanted to do in Alexandria. The only downside was that it is definitely a summer cabin that has been retrofitted with a furnace. It gets cold quickly when the furnace isn't running, and the furnace is very loud in the bedrooms when it does kick on."

"The place was perfect size for me and my two little boys. The communication was awesome! The checking into the cabin was easy! They have a lovely little play area for the kids to play in & the yard game were awesome! Being able to fish on the dock and lay out on the sun was great. Everything was just wonderful at this resort. That is the uptight of staying at every Resort and Less busy!"

"The property was peaceful. Lots of birds flittering about. If you like to fish, especially for bass this is a great place. Every 2 hour trip I took out I caught 10-15 bass. All 3.5+ pounds. The largest was over 5 and I had multiple that size. The location of the fire pit right by the lake was a perfect end to the days. Will definitely be booking again. There are some minor spruce up repairs to be made but communication with the host indicated they plan to do those this year. "

"This old home was obviously updated with patience and love. The attention given to the beautiful, cohesive decor resulted in a very aesthetically pleasing stay. The outdoor deck was spacious delightfully lit, and provided a wonderful view of the small, quiet lake. Our family truly enjoyed our stay. One of our favorite amenities was access to the paddleboards and kayaks. We would absolutely stay again. "

"If you are looking for a rustic outdoor experience with no hassle or headaches, this is the place! Steven was great to work with. He was prompt at answering questions and resolved any issues quickly. The lake is beautiful and having access to the pontoon for fishing and recreation was great. There is no beach, but we knew that from the description and a small public beach was a short 13 minute drive away. The nearbybtown of Battle Lake was charming and had great restaurants. "Grandparents, Adult Kids, and Grandkids had a wonderful time. The house is perfect for multi generations as the downstairs has its own family room/game room. The decks were so inviting and comfortable. The sandy beach was perfect for the littles and all the water toys made our stay!!! We went for beautiful nature walks each day, swam in the lake and paddled the SUP’s. We also enjoyed going to Carlos Creek Winery for a wine tasting and pizza dinner. Super fun and family friendly.
