"Our first impression was that the vrbo site doesn't do it any justice! It may be small in places, but it had plenty of room for my wife and I. I was impressed with the look and workability. "I had to wait to check in at least two hours. I finally got instructions for the keys at about 6.00 pm. Owner did not answer phone when I called to try and check in. The email from Expedia clearly stated that checkout was at noon. I was being asked by the cleaner to leave the property at 11.00 am. Very disappointing check in and check out process. "

"From my interactions with the owner to the home and the breathtaking views from the property— our stay at Rock and Stone was wonderful. It was comfortable had everything we needed and was very close to one of the trails to the monasteries. We enjoyed cooking at the house as well as walking into town. An excellent and memorable experience. I highly recommend it!!"

"The hotel has a charming theatre theme. The staff are very friendly. The location is outside of the town, where the road to the monasteries passes by. So it is five minutes walk from the town centre, yet without the traffic when you want to drive up to the rocks. Highly recommended!"

Perfect stay!

"We’ve been traveling in Greece (return trip) for a few weeks. This may have been our nicest stay. First, a lovely room and setting. Second, the professionalism AND warmth of the staff. In particular, one member of our party needed a little help and she was well taken and genuinely taken care of by Doupiani House. Also, excellent breakfast."

"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The host was beyond accommodating and helpful. The space was extremely peaceful and comfortable. Although I’m here in February and most businesses are closed, I would highly recommend as a peaceful retreat with close proximity to access the monasteries. "
