"I didn't like my stay because I couldn't find my stay I wasn't given a phone number there was no signage that I could find at front of property infact I went on this site to book a room at the Long Flat hotel and was told they had no rooms available. After paying over $400 for a one room cabin with one bed and looking for it in the dark went to the Long Flat hotel and got two rooms 5 beds between them for $80 each so as you can imagine its hard to review the property but the website gets zero. I apologise for the bad review because I would never do this normally but people need to know what they may be up against given some sort of satisfaction I'm happy to retract."

"We had a great stay, perfect for our needs. Great communication from the management team with a lovely confirmation call on the morning of our stay, and great check in-check out communication. We loved that continental breakfast can be delivered to your room in the morning - it evoked very fond memories of stays in country motels as a kid. The rooms have been renovated, and are some of the best country motel rooms that we have stayed (we’ve seen them all!). The bathroom renovations in particular are excellent. Wingham Hotel is located across the street, and the hotel is located within walking distance of the Main Street/park. We’ll be back"

"The only downside, and it was only a little annoying, I think they were tradies in unit next door and they sat on their verandah but on the boundary with ours, and they were noisy. "

"We had a beautiful week surrounded by gorgeous countryside and mountains. The house was very comfortable for our family of 5 with the bonus of a clean beautiful pool to swim in. The hosts were very friendly with our children showing them how to feed a calf and collect chicken eggs. They were great hosts"

"Our stay at the Simple Patch was wonderful. Everything about the cottage is so considered, from the huge comfy bed, to the picturesque windows, and the convenience of a well-appointed kitchen. the cottage was private and comfortable, but we loved having the opportunity to bring our young daughter down to the homestead to meet the pony and feed the chickens - a great experience that added to our stay. The location is a very short drive from Wingham town centre, so we got to enjoy the quiet of the country with the convenience of being close to shops, etc. Cannot recommend highly enough! "
