Casa Mara is characterized by its tranquility, its beautiful panoramic views and its location in a protected natural area, Los Acantilados de La Culata.





At Casa Mara you can find real authentic homemade local food served in our restaurant, enjoy green landscapes and amazing views , hiking trails, ideal for those who are looking for an active holiday in Tenerife. It is child-friendly and has a children’s bed and high chair. Apartments are equipped with kitchen and bathrooms and offer bed linen, kitchen utensils and bath towels.





We are 10 minutes from the town and port of Garachico, one of the most visited villages on the island for its architectural interest and its natural lava pools. 20 minutes away is the town of Icod de los Vinos, with its thousand-year-old dragon tree, and to the west of the island, just 6 km from the Teno Natural Park, an ideal place for hiking.





There's no doubt that the south is the most popular part of Tenerife and many visitors only get to see that part of the island, missing all of the beauty of the north, with its wild beaches and amazing hikes in the mountains. If you are into walking and hiking, then, by all means, come and stay in Tenerife North, you will absolutely love it here!





Best way to come to Casa Mara is by car which you can rent at the airport. This way you will be able to freely explore all the places around the island.

The house is close to several hiking routes, where you can visit the volcanic formation of La Cueva del Viento, or venture into the surrounding rural area. It also has fruit trees where our guests are free to pick the fruit, and is set in a place where you will be able to discover the fauna.

Para llegar hasta allí hay que ir por una carretera de curvas, en buen estado, ningún problema para llegar (es necesario tener coche para llegar hasta allí, creo que sería algo complicado con las conexiones de bus). El apartamento y decoración antiguos, pero eso es lo de menos. La cama era muy cómoda y el apartamento estaba muy limpio. Estuvimos muy agusto. Relación calidad-precio genial.
