Sonesta Hotel Ibague
5/5 Excellent
Exceptional service and attention
"We stayed at the Sonesta for one night. Our experience at check-in was probably one of the best we had ever had. Happy smiling faces, great service and the welocme drink.
Then at breakfast the next day we were addressed by name (very rarely experienced) and asked regularly if we had everything we needed. I jokingly said I wished they had tamales but apparently they only have these on Sundays. So imagine my surprise and delight when the waiter returned to tell me that he had spoken with the chef and they were going to prepare a tamale for me if I could wait. I was so delighted and humbled by this marvellous attention to detail and the desire to please a guest. Would definitely stay at the Sonesta again."
