"Von Puntagorda aus läßt sich die Insel gut mit Tagestouren erkunden. Für Wanderer ein günstiger Ausgangspunkt. Die Unterkunft ist einfach, aber sauber, großzügig und alles, was benötigt wird ist vorhanden. Einkaufen und Restaurant sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Die deutschen Vermieter sind nett und unkompliziert. Alles in allem eine klare Empfehlung."

"Since most of the reviews are written in German (and the homeowners are German) I think it's time to open up this gem to non-German speaking travelers to La Palma. Casa Primavista is located on the west side of the island, about 90 minutes away from the airport. The nature of the island is such that you won't find very many properties with immediate access to the sea--but in Casa Primavista you have a superb view of the ocean about 800 meter below and about 2 kilometers out, as the crow flies....

"Enjoyed our 3 night stay. Modern, clean comfortable room with fantastic views. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good generally but grilled meats were chewy. Ample parking at the hotel but for a fee (10 euros/day). However, parking can be found along the road approaching the hotel. Area surrounding the hotel was quiet with few dining options."

"Excellent location on a quiet pedestrian precinct. Spacious superior room,clean and comfortable on upper floor with sea view. The best asset of any hotel is its staff who were all extremely polite, helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel to any age group."

"The gardens in which the hotel is built are beyond comparison, a real oasis. The pool is very attractive, with plenty of sunbed area around it. The beach, the local restaurants, the little shops and the bus stop are all very close, and there is a good walking route to the town of Santa Cruz avoiding the main road (50 mins)."
