Welcome to Casa Los Conejos where the southwest charm is evident in the decor, and comfort and relaxation abound.

The living room is outfitted with a comfortable leather sofa, two arm chairs, and a cozy wood-burning fireplace. Snuggle up for a group movie night by the fire after a fun day experiencing the beauty of the desert. When hunger strikes, take advantage of the well-equipped kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances, an island, and bar seating. Dine together at the long wooden table that seats six comfortably. The bedrooms are stately, comfortable, and well-decorated.

Outside, guests can take advantage of the gas grill for some outdoor cooking and the private hot tub for a relaxing night under the starry sky.

Just what we were looking for!
I visited for 5 nights with my three adult children - great location, beautiful home, well equipped kitchen. Drank coffee in the front watching the sunrise, grilled in the back watching the sunset and hot tubbed under the stars. Found lots to do in the area - in town wandering, hiking/walking, horse back riding.

Beautiful Casa
Exceptional home, close to everything in a peaceful area outside of town. Hot tub, huge, well-stocked kitchen and large master bath, with spa tub. Open floor plan with tons of windows. Amazing sunrises and sunsets.

Quiet/Clean Property
This was our first time to Taos. The property worked well for our family of four. Our in-laws were only 6 minutes away (staying at another property managed by the same company). I was a little confused how I booked on VRBO but my confirmation/checkin information was through VACASA. It ended up working out. They were quick to respond to any/all questions. Couple things about the property…the house was cute and very clean. It would be nice if they had different shades in the bedrooms (because light filtered in EARLY). Even though we didn’t really use the kitchen for meals (except breakfast), it was well stocked with nice pans, knives, bowls, etc. They actually had a nice blender! I read another post about getting groceries beforehand. The property is literally off a winding DIRT road. It’s not that anything is that far…it’s just a hassle. So make a list so you don’t have to keep going. I would recommend this place regardless. I thought it was clean and quiet. I didn’t think Taos was really a walkable town in general. So having to drive 5 extra minutes and not have to stay in a average hotel was well worth it. If you have a small family and want to spread out, I would suggest this place.

Great house, decent location, decent value. The smart lock on the door was dead so checking in took a bit longer than we wanted it to. Then when we went to bring our car into the garage, there was already a car in there!!! Which sort of made us a bit nervous about who was at the property or if a guest was still staying there and we didn't go to the right place. We asked what was going on and we finally got a response that said "The garage is not available to be used ok" I checked all over the listing to see what it said and the only thing I could find was "Free parking for three vehicles." So while I shouldn't have assumed to be able to use the garage, it was definitely not clear anywhere that we were not allowed to use it. Which is frustrating especially in the winter. I also have stayed at dozens of VRBO's and not once has there been a car in the garage. We found a leak in the ceiling above the kitchen sink that was lucky to drip into the sink. You can see water damage there. They really should repair the roof. Multiple times we had water drip on our head while doing dishes. The living room couch sounded like it was going to break every time you sat in it. Besides that, the rooms were nice and cozy. No real complaints about that. The primary bedroom was spacious and light filled. The hot tub was good other than the fact that the chlorine levels seemed unreasonably high. As we had to shower immediately after getting out of it.

Beautiful and kid friendly
Absolutely loved this house! The views are amazing and it was stocked with everything you need! This was probably the most kid friendly house I have ever stayed in. They even had video monitors you could hook up for your baby. So many games and toys too. We will be visiting again and booking this home. Overall 10/10!

Charming Home in El Prado

Immaculate & spectacular home!!!
Casa de Los Conejos was a luxurious & peaceful retreat during our stay in El Prado. The home was thoughtfully decorated, and every amenity in regards to comfort & convenience was there for us (impeccable quality of kitchen cookware, plenty of seating areas, dimmer switches on lights, radiant heat, gorgeous bedding & room decor, detail to quality and anticipating guest’s needs). The views of the mountains were gorgeous and the area was tranquil and quiet, yet so convenient in proximity to Taos. We felt spoiled staying in this exquisite home!!! Thank you for sharing with us!!

Well equipped & modern home, gorgeous views
We loved our time at this modern and well equipped home in a rural area outside of Taos. The views are amazing - wheeler peak at your front door. We spent our time in the front yard watching the gorgeous sun rise, and the sunset in the backyard hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed to make every meal at home for our kids. The property manager was responsive once we initially got a hold of him, and took care of our requests quickly. We were impressed with how quickly we could get to the grocery store and downtown Taos - approximately 10-15 minute drive. If you have kids, check out Twirl playground downtown. Thank you for a wonderful week in a quiet and beautiful part of NM.
