"I booked this property but I was assigned by the front desk to the sister property across the street. Hotel Playa because supposedly it was quieter. El Flamenco seems to attract young, loud, party oriented travelers. This is a family owned group of properties including a restaurant. They seem to save Hotel Playa rooms (about7-8 rooms) for guests’ overflow This review is for Hotel Playa.Both properties are old and very run down. "I liked it was very clean. I hated the toiletries were packets. They had A/C but the heating didn't work. They have no staff to man the Hostel, so you do it through the bar/restaurant downstairs. The guys were nice were but there were a ton of people having a party outside and the restaurant was super full. They're understaffed and I had to fight to get the bartenders' attention to check in, then he went to get someone who gave me a key and waved me away. I had to return to asked for the wifi....
