"We enjoyed our stay at the Villa de Soledad. It’s located in a beautiful setting and right near the trailheads of the Pico Bonito National Park. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and helpful! "

"My wife and I are birders and the lodge offered some great opportunities photographing them. There were many hummingbird feeders with plenty of birds around at all times. There are several good trails we walked early in the morning and were pleased to see many toucans. The cabin was clean and the AC cooled it in short time. The food at the restaurant was excellent and varied, and the service was even better. Highly recommended for anyone seeking the quiet of nature and the convenience of the modern world (Wi-Fi worked great in the cabin)."

"Everything was really nice but when i got there the front desk guy said i had to pay for the second person when i had done already while doing my reservation. Maybe they should be prepared for when the customer gets there avoid this kind of things. At the end he realized it was paid. Besides that everything was perfect"

"Fabulous hotel with pool, frequent sightings of toucans and hummingbirds, huge grounds to explore with Mimi the dog, well signposted so we didn’t get lost.We really enjoyed the white water rafting (glad I was persuaded to do it by Udo the owner). Excellent hike to the El Bujuco waterfall. Food and cocktails were amazing and we enjoyed the entertainment provided by Tunco the dog. Owners are very friendly and helpful. "

"Victor the night security guard and the cleaning ladies were absolutely wonderful and very helpful. I hope they have an employee of the month and that victor gets it! That being said I do think that the property could do with a fresh coat of paint to make it “pop” a bit more. TV’s should be bigger and have more channels available in English. The shower heads need to be changed. That being said I would stay again. "
