We just used it as a cheap stop-over after a late night flight to Tenerife South but we liked our cabin and the atmosphere and were quite disappointed that we didn’t have time to stay and explore the beach and nature reserve the following morning. "We (couple late-20s) had a good stay at Hollywood Mirage at the end of January (four nights), the hotel is cheap and cheerful. The hotel is at the top of a large hill and a ~15/20 min walk from the beach, we didn’t mind this but something to be mindful of.
