"We stayed there for a week, and everything was ready and clean when we arrived. Each day, we were given two bottles of water, which was a nice touch. The pool and hot tub area were always clean and well-maintained, and there was never any noise after 10 p.m.—even before that, it was pretty quiet. The best part was being right on the beach with easy access. It made our stay really relaxing. "

"Really cool place. The property was gorgeous.. right on the beach! We saw staff constantly cleaning or tidying up. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The Hotel is right on the beach and more than enough space for guests to spread out. We loved the chairs and table right outside our sliding glass door. That was nice for those beautiful sunrises/sunsets. The restaurant upstairs was delicious, some of the best food in town. The restaurant staff was also very nice, particularly the young man who was our server multiple nights. We enjoyed coffee in the morning from the cafe downstairs. My husband fly fished from the beach every morning/evening and it was “some of the craziest fishing he’s ever done” The location is perfect, right on the beach but close enough to town that we walked there everyday and didn’t feel the need to get a rental vehicle. My husband is already planning another trip back! We will most definitely recommend Playa Del Sol to anyone. Thank you for such an amazing and memorable Birthday! "

"The staff here are excellent. The pool and deck area are really nice. The jacuzzi was not heated. We think the owner needs to invest a bit for maintenance. The staff has to make excuses which we know wasn’t their fault. It still was a nice place to stay. "

"The property is amazing! Excellent location at edge of a tiny, walkable fishing village. Everyone we met was incredibly kind and helpful. The house is WAY nicer than the pictures suggest and we felt VERY comfortable - plenty of space for 3 teens and 7 adults! The home is situated ideally on a quiet beach with comfortable lounge chairs, shaded and sunny areas. We really enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboards. Kitchen setup was terrific for 3 teens and 7 adults, and we got catering brought in a few times (all easy and excellent). Also enjoyed Restaurante El Cheff! There is an extra fridge and freezer in the garage. Supplies are well-stocked. We loved the 4 comparable master suites, plus an ensuite (and another room plus hall bath). Loved the balconies for quiet time. We enjoyed excellent, easy fishing with Vicente, and Lupita kept the house tidy. We would DEFINITELY rent this again and hope to do so, soon! "

"We loved everything about this property! It has a friendly hostel feel with some very cozy hangout spaces, yoga mats to use, hammocks and a well equipped communal kitchen. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Carlos helped to organize a Sea tour for us at an affordable price. The smoothies were delicious and the sea view room we stayed in was beautiful with a hammock outside. We were a bit hesitant to book at a hostel/hotel as we were travelling with a young child and like some privacy but we all immediately felt at home. Being set back from the main road was also nice as you didn't hear the traffic noise and we slept very well in the peaceful environment. We would definitely return, hopefully soon!! I am going to miss the sunrises from the rooftop deck every morning! "

"Loved this place so much! The rooms are small and a little dated and no fridge but since the restaurant on site was so good and fair priced it wasn't much of an issue. The food and drinks are excellent. The beach is empty and peaceful. Water is super safe for swimming. You can even feel the hot spring water in the sand on the shoreline. Amazing. Will for sure stay here again"
