The owner was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on the town, providing valuable input as it relates to eating and cafe options, as well as for hiking/visiting nearby Cocora Valley, which ultimately saved me $. "Using Expedia, I reserved a room with a view and jaccuzi bath. When I arrived they tried to lodge me in a corner closet size room with no Jaccuzi or view. They said that was the room I reserved. From my perspective it was a classic “bait and switch”. I ended up getting the room I reserved for three nights instead of the five I paid for. "

"It's a big traditional house with a friendly staff to take care of you while you're a guest. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi every evening and took advantage of the opportunity to have the staff prepare meals for us. The location is off the beaten path, but is about an hour from everything that you will want to visit in the region. Make sure you confirm you're headed to the right address with the host before hitting the road as the address VRBO provided was not correct."

"It was a great place to stay, with the benefit of a mountain location and easy access to town by taking a shortcut on the property. Note that it is a good uphill hike back from town. A taxi or tuk-tuk may be a better idea coming back at night. Our room was next to the parking lot and was noisy as trucks and cars came in and out. It was the building right beside the main building. They have more secluded units that I would encourage you to get. I recommend this place. "

"Our experience at the Hotel Terasu was phenomenal! The attention to detail, the friendliness of the staff, the amenities such as the hot tub and sauna and the excellent breakfast really made for a magical experience in Salento. We would highly recommend this boutique hotel and give it 10 stars!"

"We stayed at Decameron Panaca as the base for our travels across the coffee region which worked very well for us. Our rooms were comfortable and had lovely views over the treetops. Having the restaurant on site was convenient too when we wanted a break from the buffet, and the food was good. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to other families looking for an all-inclusive resort to stay in. "
