"Definitely out of the way, although close to Aledo, a very quaint village with a great bakery/ coffee shop. "

"We booked for 4 weeks but ended up staying just over 2 weeks. My wife was homesick, and the apartment was just a holiday let so not homely. The booking in process was OK although trying to find the place was difficult without a map. Could do with a map with the property highlighted. We found it after 20mins driving around and asking people. The rooms were clean and sizes OK. The main bed was very low so not easy to get out of when your wanted to but OK. Kitchen had all you need to cook a meal missing a couple of things (no wine glasses,) but nothing major. Bathroom shower you had to be carful as the fist day we had water running out of the bathroom, but we were given more towels plus bathmat as very slippy plus we didn’t stand direct in the shower as it would leak from the spray. 2-3 light bulbs were out plus I had to fill the dishwasher with salt etc plus washing machine needed a little maintenance which I did The chairs for the dinning table were very wobbly the settee was very marked and a little grubby. There was nothing to put clothes in draws in the bedroom so had to use a chair and the spare room for cloths. No coffee table so again used chairs when in the sofa area I would say a few things need to be replaced and the walls around the property could do with a clean compared to some of the other apartments. There are no views, but the property was OK for 2 people and children. You wouldn’t want 4 adults in it. A little tight for us. "

"Spectacular location, up next to old castl. Our window looked out on castle at sunrise. Staff was helpful; loaned us a cellphone recharger cable for one we had lost and told us where to buy another. Hotel seemed strangely empty in afternoon and evening, but in the morning at check-in checkout there were plenty of people. To get to hotel, take GPS option that avoids mid-town. Both of our GPS options got lost trying to take routes that went by Plaza España."

"My wife and I stayed here in July for two weeks. The villa is well equipped and comfortable. Everything you could ask for very clean throughout. Great location would highly recommend and have booked again."

"This is our 2nd stay at Villa Olive & we can’t fault it. Fabulous outside area, lovely pool & the villa has all the things you need for a wonderful break, including a dishwasher, coffee machine and a perfectly sized fridge. It’s a quiet area, easy to get to from Murcia Int & the supermarket is a short drive away. Everything is very comfortable, easy to use and honestly, we never want to leave - so much so, we’re already sorted for next year! Thanks to Rob for his great welcome and Ben & Giles for making Villa Olive the perfect place to have a break and catch up with friends."
