"Es un alojamiento con todo lo necesario , incluso con zona de comedor y nevera si necesitas dejar algo. En cambio el olor de la recepción era terrible, como a tubería , llegaba casi hasta las habitaciones. En las escaleras encontramos ropa de cama y toallas en el suelo que estuvieron durante dos días así como una bolsa de basura. La limpieza del baño no era muy exquisita tampoco. "

"Uiterst vriendelijk ontvangst door Francisco en Bubbles, de hond rond het late tijdstip van 21:30 uur. Op voorhand al binnengelootsd met Whatsapp berichten, aangevuld met to-do-tips. Een verblijf achter in de volledig met diverse zithoekjes ingerichte tuin waar de huiseigenaar zelf geen gebruik van maakte tijdens ons verblijf. Ontbijt op voorhand door Francisco geregeld. "Big room in a quiet old manor/estate. A bit hard to find, google did okay however the entrance was not signed very well. Stairs to room, good breakfast and quiet area. Grounds are dated but the house is clean and spacious. Host was helpful offering maps of the area and ideas for restaurants. "

"Great cozy guesthouse, situated right in the center of Aveiro. Fine common space with a kitchen you can use (there is a refrigerator too). Nice room with a comfortable bed and ensuite bathroom. Delicious breakfast in the morning, which you can eat in the sunny patio. Overall - great at this price."

"Not even close to expectations. Dificult check in process, very small room, one "bed" was just a matress in floor and worst of all "bathroom" was just in room with glass division, no privacy at all."

"The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the centre of town, close to shops, dining and local attractions. What makes this hotel stand above the rest is the service you receive from every member of the hotel staff. They definitely go above and beyond. In addition, the hotel is beautiful. It once was a private residence and was recently renovated. However they were able to keep the integrity, beauty and charm of the original residence with modern amenities. It felt like we were transported back in time. We have been in many hotels during our travels, this hotel by far will be one of the most memorable. I would definitely highly recommend staying at 1877."

"This was a great hotel. Nice clean room that was perfect for what we needed. Walking distance to the canal, gondola tours, shopping centre and restaurants. The staff was really helpful. We opted for private parking which was below the nearby mall - the hotel provides a swipe card and directions. A short walk back to the hotel, but felt very safe about leaving the rental car there. "
