"We rode the Great Victorian Rail Trail. The cottage was fantastic, as was the outdoor seating area. There was plenty of room to put our 4 bikes under cover outside, adjacent to an outdoor power point for re-charging the batteries. The cottage was roomy, with a very effective air conditioner and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. We kept cool in the 36 degree heat!"

"Excellent location with outstanding views and environment. Accommodation is excellent for what it offers, eg. quiet, private, comfortable. Would recommend at least a couple of nights stay. Come prepared for self catering as the town of Mansfield is at times very busy. It’s not 5 star, the cabin was clean and adequate in its offerings."

"The cottage was very well kept and really comfortable! The owners were very welcoming and great at communicating. One thing to note is that the mobile coverage in the area isn't great, and to access any nearby sights you have to drive. Overall we found the stay really comfortable and the hosts were lovely!"

"Great place to visit. We definitely could have stayed a few more days. Plenty of dog friendly activities. It would be a great place to stay at other times of the year as well We very much enjoyed Maggie’s baked treats and the Strawbale cottage holiday vibe. "This place is incredible. All you hear is birds and cows. Close enough to Mansfield if you've forgotten something. I was amazed by the view everytime I stepped outsider. The house itself is actually much bigger than I thought it was going to be, has absolutely everything you could need. Will be recommending it to anyone. Was an absolute pleasure to stay here!"

There was not enough toilet paper considering the size of the house/ large group stay. kitchen paper towels, bath mats, body wash/shampoo was not provided neither we were told to bring our own. Overall very good place to stay, but some above points need to be considered. "
