"Small friendly motel on the shore of a beautiful lake and fjords nearby, just outside Haugesund. Ideal if you are passing through. Cosy main reception and lounge/breakfast/diner area with fireplace a small bar, home cooked meal available. Typical motel with rooms lined up outside, fully functional internet and ample parking. Lovely change from a city or town centre stay, enjoyed a nice walk before diner and an early night."

"Ikke varme eller varmt vann på rommet par sager på rad om natten og formiddagen. Frokost på søndag var stusselig. Ikke hanker til å henge ytterdør ved døren er en ting som manglet. Ikke lyd på TV da tv støtter ikke ny Apple boks grunnet alder. To unge medarbeidere var veldig flinke og løsningsorientert. "

Bassenget er bortimot iskaldt, men ellers så er dette et fint å hotell å tilbringe en dag eller to. Det er veldig nært gode shoppingmuligheter - spesielt om du har tilgang til bil. "This was a positive surprise! I guess many probably try to find accommodation along E134, but a detour to Vikedal for this hotel can certainly be worth it. I have stayed at several hotels during corona-times, but the breakfast here certainly was the best so far. The exterior of the hotel might seem second class, but the room we had and the nice river view was great. Absolutely recommended!"
