We felt very welcomed by the wonderful staff, from personally showing us to our room to the restaurant staff going out of their way to ensure my wife had one more schnitzel before leaving Germany. All-in-all, it was a memorable moment on our vacation, after a series of forgettable budget hotels. And the historical town of Wassenberg is worth a visit, even though it’s off the beaten path. "De Oolderhof resort was amazing and situated in a beautiful area. The hotel sent very clear instructions on arriving by car qua parking, walking to the reception and offloading luggage. Breakfast was good but lacked choices and some plates ran out quite early in the morning without replenishment. Staff were very friendly and decoration of the reception and the rest of the hotel is beautiful"
