"I would have given this five stars but it is extremely expensive to stay in this house and while we were actually quite happy to not have Wifi or indeed phone reception, we were frustrated and disappointed to be told we couldn't use the superior Wifi connection in the café. "The cottage is very welcoming and is equipped with everything that you may need. It is very central to the lovely village with shops and pub almost within touching distance. The off-road parking is a boon although there was always space on the road if more than one car was used. All-in-all an excellent stay and no doubt we will return as there is so much to see in the area and the cottage makes a wonderful base."

"This Location worked very well for us with plenty of room and plenty of bedrooms. The bungalow was more spacious on the inside than it looks from the outside. There was a container in the kitchen that said T but there was no tea in it and no shampoo body wash or anything of that nature in the bathrooms which would’ve been helpful for our guests if they had been provided"

"A great little cottage with plenty of amenities, however disappointed to only have 2 wine glasses and 4 mugs for a group of 6 ladies, who all love wine and all love tea, which made it very challenging and annoying. Would recommend for anybody looking to venture to sherwood forest area, as very close to sherwood forest visitor centre. a great Italian restaurant in the village too, 100 yards from the cottage, which was lovely. all in all a great cottage and wouldnt hesitate to stay here again."
