"The house was great for our large family gathering! Everyone had their own bedroom, the house was clean and had all that we needed! The hostess was very friendly and responsive to questions we had. "

"Enjoyed a nice relaxing time with family and celebrating Thanksgiving. The house was awesome, and it reminded us of our farmhouse in Virginia. The big table allowed us to have a wonderful meal. We will defiantly use this house again when we visit."

"We were in the region for my daughter's wedding at Hidden Vinyard Wedding Barn. Family and close friends were able to stay with us and it made the four nights feel like one long extended visit with people we don't get to see often. The house was very well equipped with kitchen equipment and dishes and was comfortable inside and out with areas to gather and relax, play cards or swim (though it was getting a little cold!), and the fire pit was cozy too with the nice Adirondack chairs. "We rented this property for the weekend to have a little getaway for our family. There was only seven of us so it was perfect our sister mostly uses of wheelchair so it a pleasant surprise when we seen the wheelchair ramp going up to the back deck we all enjoyed ourselves and made some great memories with her. Everyone on and around the lake was friendly. We love the little beach area attached to the property and the fire pit it just has a really nice cabin feel, even though it’s a house....

"First time staying at this Doubletree here in South Bend, and all I can say is that it was a pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly and actually held a conversation with me while checking me in! He even gave me warm chocolate chip cookies for my family and I! The room was clean and the bed was a dream! The view of the river was the cherry on top. Loved the stay so much I booked an extra night. If we needed something, either from housekeeping or front desk, they made sure our needs were satisfied. If we are ever in the South Bend area again, I will book another stay there. "
