"The cabin is in a group of other cabins right along Long Pond Rd. So you will have very close neighbors for your stay. We had a night where local kids were constantly riding their ATVs up and down the road - which was loud and unwelcome. All the cabin amenities worked well. You will need to bring your own linens & towels as the instructions you read upon arrival state that all of their provided linens and towels need to be washed and returned dry and clean. "My son and I are traveling around for a couple of weeks and we ran across this cabin with 210 five star rating with beautiful views of the river. After renting it I visited with Doug the owner and found him be very knowledgable of the area and very helpful with our needs. "The guy we rented from was very nice it looks a lot better in person but it definitely needs a new queen bed its lopsided when we tried to sleep in it we had to sleep on these brown sofa chairs which were better if he gets a better bed id give him a 5 he showed us around and showed us some outside stuff we could do by the dock and there was a balcony outside we could relax on as well"

"Enjoyed a family stay at Boyd Pond cottage. Sauna was great and enjoyed the kayaks and stand up paddle board. Fire pit out front with wood provided - roasting marshmallows was fun. King size bed and others beds were very comfortable. Drinking water was provided. Some weeds in the pond but much less when swimming further out. Hot tub was not working. The owner was very responsive and accommodating particularly during our last day of heavy rain and short power outage. Overall a very pleasant stay...

"This was right on the lake with a dock. There is a wonderful, comfy porch overlooking the pretty lake where you can read and relax! Fishing is a must!! Good and fun. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation as advertised. There is a campfire setup which was a nice way to wind down. The caretakers and the owner were responsive and very nice people!! We boated Black Lake and the St. Lawrence. Thousand Island was half an hour from there-spent time in Alexandria Bay!!...

"We are the original owners of this property so it was especially wonderful to stay once more at this beautiful property. The weather was fantastic, we had a family reunion of sorts with other siblings and family staying at other homes around the lake. Being able to share this special piece of heaven with our grandchildren was especially great. Two of the 3 grandsons caught fish and one caught a Pike! Very exciting! "The setting is lovely and the hosts are very accommodating. I will say to be careful when trying to swim off the shore. The mud is very deep and hard to get out of. I would recommend getting in and out of the water by using the dock and not trying to walk in and out. Kayaking was beautiful and there are plenty of them to use. Cottage has a renovated garage that serves as a very large and roomy sleeping area. It does get a bit damp and musty but we opened the windows and it was fine. ...
