This place was relatively clean, and the owner was nice. The MAJOR problem is the misleading advertising for this home, which led to us having a very uncomfortable two-night stay in the city. This place is listed as an Entire Home. It says so multiple timea on the listing, in bold letters. "You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party" This is a direct quote on the listing. This is not the case at all. The owner rented out a room that is directly attached to our private area. Many strangers were walking past our kids in our "private living area" throughout our 2-day trip. They also rented out the main level to another group of people. Everyone in the home had to walk through our private area to access the laundry, and we had to walk through their area to get up to our area, so we were constantly bumping into people day and night. The host was also in and out of the home. I know that these shared accommodations exist. But this was not advertised to us as that. This was also done via vrbo, which i believed was only entire homes, but the owner told us that vrbo makes some exceptions, apparently. Im aware that this has "shared laundry, dining area, and kitchen", but it is only listed in the fine print at the bottom. Even this is not true, when strangers are walking through the "private" living area. Overall, very jarring to see unexpected strangers everywhere, and tarnished our family trip to the city.

I booked this property on Expedia, where it said in MULTIPLE locations that the entire property was ours, only shared with members of our party. This is absolutely FALSE. We arrived, there was a vehicle in the driveway, and shoes inside the front door. Within 15 minutes, we run into someone else also staying there. We were in a rush to get to a concert, so we thought we'd deal with it for 1 night. We lock the bedroom doors, and when we return, one of the keys doesnt work. So now we have someone having to sleep on the sofa. I message the host, but it's 1am. At 3:30am, another man appears, and unlocks the door. While it's nice to have access to the bedroom, thats at least 2 extra people in the house. The fridge is full of someone's food, and there are at least 3 pairs of shoes that don't belong to us. In the morning, i just want to shower and leave. Except, there's no cold water in the bathroom. Scorching hot, unable to shower. We leave, there is another vehicle parked in the garage, and 2 people working in the yard. I called VRBO in the middle of the night, because thats who this bookong is technically through. They were as helpful as they could be. They said it should NOT listed. If you are looking for shared accommodations, this would be fine. The listing is inaccurate and i would not have booked it. The host was friendly (I think hes the one who unlocked the door and he was in the yard) and helpful, he responds quickly to messages on the app.
