"I loved this place, location and views were amazing! The only thing that I would change is that it’s a little difficult to climb into the loft beds. I’m pretty athletic and barely a size 6, and felt like I needed a wider opening to climb up into the bed. Even still…. I would definitely re-book this place. Wonderful tiny home!"

Like any old cabin there were quarks and the wifi was spotty during the day, sometimes not working at all which made it difficult for me to get a little work done. "This is a beautiful rustic cabin with many amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed the huge deck with views of the bay and mountains (on a clear day), quiet location, and warm and toasty on chilly nights. We did not cook but the kitchen seemed well equipped, and a new grill is available on the deck. There is a bit of a slope to walk down from parking area to the entrance but the path with steps is fine. Stairs down to the water are solid with storage for kayaks, etc. if you have them. Super charming...

"Booking this stay for my 50th high school reunion, I didn't realize after having been away for so long, that the VRBO was a few blocks from my grade school! It also was convenient to Issaquah and the site of our party. I gave the place one less star for highway traffic noise---maybe more sound insulation could be added to the loft? Otherwise, it met my needs in every respect."

"The wife, dogs, and I stayed here to unplug during a rainy Memorial Day. This property is special! Felt like we were transported back to the 1800s (but with some key comforts like baseboard heaters). We enjoyed zoning out to the crackling fire and looking at the tides go by."

"We only spent two nights but really enjoyed the weekend break. Quiet location and the internet was surprisingly good so we could stream a movie with no issues. Yes there were a few spiders and the cell reception was non-existent but that was our goal. We love stopping by Langley and Freeland so this location was perfect. We did manage to be sucessful with our trout fishing which was an added bonus. Only improvements I could see would be to do some work on the shower so it doesn't leak...

"Chrissy always takes such good care of her guests. Her thoughtfulness is over the top, from the fire going, to the snacks, to the lights and heat on. I always enjoy staying here. The cabin is always spotless and the location is absolutely excellent and has everything you would ever need."

"Wonderful stay! Use your maps to find the road but listen to the Host on what to do once you get on that final road the cabin is on. Apple and Google will get you there but will mislead you on the final road!! Host is very helpful. Landscaped beautifully and clean comfortable cabin. Has everything you need just pick up your groceries! Would definitely stay again. "

Lots of texts to fill out and pay the deposit before I arrived, plus taking photos of my DL and filling out forms. Not easy to do while working a tradeshow.
