"The hotel itself is fine- nothing exceptional, but perfectly serviceable for a place close to Newark airport. However, the bartender at Dougs (the bar/restaurant there) is worth mentioning. I was traveling through for one night by myself, and decided to get a beer at the bar. The guy working was named Jason, and without being intrusive or unprofessional struck up a conversation with me and another patron and was able to make an otherwise lonely night at a bar feel like I was visiting with old friends. Hopefully his employers see this and recognize they have a really great employee there. "

"One particular Staff member Melvin was so welcoming and kind when we first arrived at the hotel and also greeted us in a friendly manner every time we saw him. It made our stay in NY even better 😊"
