We enjoyed everything about this hotel; the friendly staff, tastefully decorated rooms, early check-in, the location is perfect for walking to various spots, and the view from our room was spectacular overlooking the castle!

Fabulous location, room and facilities. Only slight peeve was no mini bar in the room and two complimentary tiny shortbread biscuits in refreshment tray. Tesco express within 100 metres resolved this. Stayed over six nations Rugby and although hotel full to capacity no fall in level of service.
