From the very moment we arrived. A very friendly doorman who greeted us with a smile and was very welcoming. Front staff were very quick and efficient, organised our room very early which we were very grateful for. Breakfast was fantastic and great options. Cleanliness of the room was superb also. We loved our stay at The George Hotel in Edinburgh. We were able to walk to the train, to Old Town, and to shopping/dining in New Town. Breakfasts were excellent. Staff were warm and gracious. Comfortable bed, thoughtful amenities and BBC Scotland on the radio. Lovely holiday decorations as well. Highly recommended.
